    Thank you. Amazing I am going to work it out on the guitar/bass and sax. I think the riff simply played in all keys. Then in circles of 4/5 and tone apart would open up the doors.i am going to give this a lot of viewing.

    It may have been discussed but can you tell how the lick works rhythmically , say what beat the lick begins on? Thanks!!

    Boy you have come a long way. Now you'd never say your students were " pestering" you to learn something. Lol

    so this was the key of Am, and you started the lick on D. Towards the end you said in whatever key you were in, you could play this lick from the tonic note as well?

    In all honesty you can start it from pretty much any note within the tonal center in which you're playing... the gag is resolving it correctly. Ez man, S.

    That`s Bona`s signature lick alright. Could you do a similar video with a couple of John Patitucci`s licks?...Just check his solo on Song to the Pharaoh kings..v=99NEovLqHrw. Cheers.

    Woah - Scott looking super young. That glove looks really awkward for some reason - a bit baggy.

  • @Gods1BassPlayer

    Are you sure thats the lick? Its a nice lick but it doesn't sound like Richard Bona's

  • @DanielSing90

    your** ahh that spelling error is bugging me!

  • @GregF71
    @GregF71 13 лет назад +1

    ha ha that's funny but that's exactly what i don't like in Richard's playing (he's so stucked with this lick i almost feel sorry for him) Fusion bass lines-wise, he's probably the best though (his line on zawinul's Orient Express is untouchable)
    Great breakdown vid nonetheless.Peace out.
