It's just a gallery app. Why did they make it so difficult?
Darn these little MS surprises we have to stumble upon, immediately disabled photo's at startup now.
I still use the Microsoft Photo (I think 2010) app that comes with Office. It works well but I’d like an updated photos app… I’ll take a look at photos…
I just got the photo app update & just turned off the performance setting, photos were turned off in the startup app as mine was there before in Windows 11.
Good morning very good news
Is this around 12:00pm in your country when you uploaded?
Yip
It will load in the background once you login to windows. Then it will remain in memory. If you have 16GB or more RAM, definitely go for it.
Did they fix the part where Photos doesn't save the position of the image?
I use irfanview it is fast

I saw the update, why is it 300MB+?
Same...the whole app has been updated.
currently i using windwos 11 23h2 on unsupported cpu if i upgrade to 24h2 can have any problem??
It shouldn't, I upgraded from 23h2 to 24 by clean install (rufus+win official iso) on unsupported (no tpm) all working fine so far, but it's Micro-dumb-soft so you need to try. cheers!
