  • This is the 2nd oil change of my Cub Cadet Challenger 500, there are a few problems that I highlighted including the drain cap and oil filter removal. This oil change applies to other manufacturers such as Hisun, Bennchee, Massimo, Coleman, Axis and Ranch Pony. Hope this is helpful.

Haha, I went to get my silver paint pen, and it had dried out😄.

The filter I purchased had a 19mm thread and it barely held, turns out the thread is 3/4"!

      Did you buy another filter?

Obviously the engineers didn’t care about the maintenance end of things

I have a 2015 volunteer and doing any service on it sicks. That oil drain plug is a joke along with everything else draining. Engineers suck

Its almost like they wanted to make it difficult. Overall though, Ive been pretty fortunate with this side by side. I guess you get what you pay for. This thing was $7500 back in 2017.
