You are my hero. They refuse to rerelease this show on digital anywhere and you can't even torrent this season. I thought Junkyard Wars was almost completely lost!
'Sand Yacht' on TBP is the only episode in the season that isn't as easy to get hold of. The rest are well seeded, they just don't show as being well seeded (I wouldn't trust TPB's stats on seeders/leechers anyway).
Oooh! Been off work for a few months following broken elbow surgery, so started watching repeats of SCRAPHEAP CHALLENGE here in the UK on Channel 4. The first series you could watch where from the States (Series 2 & 4)
They try atm in Britain. Big problem is that the stuff you find on "modern scrapheaps" can't be fixed/made workable with a hammer, a screwdriver and a can of brake cleaner 😢
Why do they keep saying that an additional chain will reverse the spin? All they’re doing is changing the position of the cutting head relative to the motor, that has nothing to do with how many chains there are.
I know it would have been extra work, but The Turbines should have come up with some kind of "rail" system like what Bold 3 used to make it easier to push the cutter in. But hindsight is 2020!
If I take something to the scrap yard it is doesn't run. lol. Who owns a diesel hydraulic pump that just needs maintenance to run and then scraps it? When is a motorcycle worth $50 at a junkyard if it can run with a little starting fluid? City slickers. lol. If the equipment explodes and blows a hole in the ground do you get credit?
my idea would be, I would take V8 engine and run a straght soild pipe with 6 in thick plate disk with big lug teeth at the end. then run the pipe right off the drive shaft, then use the car's gas pedal and clutch/transmission so I can apply as much power/torque and speed as I want the pipe to spin. Also using the car's 4 speed transmission I have more control cause I can up shift and down shift and also I would be able to use the reverse gear to the drill head out of hole just in case it gets stuck.

Not sure where you are looking (or not looking, would be the case). There are torrents for every episode in this season, with seeders.

This is a much better method for many younger folks to get into engineering, physics and fabrication. How fun ît can be.

@@AccAkut1987 ok
I don't understand. Surely they realize they simply have to turn the engine around to make it rotate in the opposite direction?

Yeah the solution was to flip the engine 180 left to right and drive the opposite direction
The expert said spewing rocks dirt and dust upwards against gravity and all over your engine and chain was a bad idea.
Met in Scowhegan.. I hope they had the pizza. The people are so nice. Have the extra garlic... It keeps the giant mosquitoes away!
Thanks for adding this episode
Keep up the good work I Subscribed
Miss those days I use to have tamiya fox
Dude 11:20 Chuck Norris was on Scrapheap Challenge no way!

Yeah, however they spent more time working on the cutting system, which helped them massively I feel.
@@sirplantain true true, hey they won. That is the big thing!

They always made sure there was some useful stuff lurking around. Same in the UK version scrapheap challenge. Man I miss these shows.
How this show is just sooo much louder than the original British show.
Because it's American. Simple as that.

You'd have to get that engine and everything else through the first hole though - I wouldn't fancy doing that :p
@@sirplantain Add pipes like a drill for a well, if you can drill hundreds of feet then 20 shouldn't be an issue.
First call out for John Carter I've ever heard. I bet this guy hated the John Carter movie.
That cornball childish humor brings nothing to the show.
