The fact that they're discussing "It Ends With Us" is what really got me
And that they don’t really know what it’s about. Ego saying “I personally related to how she finally found love” doesn’t really describe what happened to the protagonist lol
90% of her books are the same and I didn't see the title so I was trying to remember which it was. Thank you for dropping the title lol
Literally one of the worst books I’ve ever laid eyes on. And then when I went to book club it was nothing but praise for this filth. When I finally found someone else who thought it was rubbish I could sigh a sigh of relief. Literally the worst “twist” ever. Anybody who liked the first ML from the start is clearly delusional and needs help.

It's like a High School talent show and they all just realized they're parents are the audience and aren't going to get any of the jokes.
This sketch was worth totally the punchline that its actually a good idea, but it would have also been fine if it just ended there, bringing out the actually sharks was unnecessary, they didnt help the joke at all 😅

Right? It's like they got feedback to not rush in rehearsal and so... have put in... awkward pauses with coy smiles.

It's the long awkward silence from the audience, that was supposed to get a laugh, after every line she says. I had no clue who this woman was and this did not make her look good 😅

Easily one of the worst skits I’ve seen from this show. Wow, I’m honestly stunned.
The only skit that worked was the JT Beegees throwback.

when they have non-actors come on for cameos they should tell them to ignore the applause and not smile at the audience. the big smiles of recognition kinda kill the energy. Those cameos would've been hilarious if they both walked out totally straight faced and made their offers.

So ABC just bought a skit on SNL? Explains the stale writing and bad acting, as if they were all held hostage to comply. Please bring back actual comedy, not paid for advertising.

I don’t mean any disrespect but so far, aside from Please Don’t Destroy (perfection), it’s all misses tonight. Even Dakota’s timing and delivery in this were a little flat.

The Cut for Time sketch was good. The Barry Gibb show is also an old classic.
I just told my wife the same thing waking up to see last night’s sketches. I only showed her the Please Don’t Destroy one since it was the only good one of this week :(
Please don’t destroy was so good I was laughing I only like the Murray skit that the only one that she did that was good everything else was terrible. I thought she would better than Michael B, Jordan, and the dude last week.

I've always thought of Dakota as a terrible actress, but damn in this SNL episode she left no doubt.
Pity Dakota can't stop constantly looking towards the cue cards. Reminded me of RuPaul doing the same. Really hampers the feel, flow and humor.
