I know the odds are less than 1%, but Nintendo keep renewing the rights on it. So maybe there's something planned. Even just a remaster would be amazing. But that other 99% is just that Nintendo doesn't want anyone else to snag the rights to it.
@@Joachimgcn The problem with a ED sequel or remaster is the controversy revolving the developers. One of the writers for ED Ken McCulloch got caught with CP and SA and was sentence back in 2014. Nintendo might not want the attention of something like that if they want to bring back the IP. It a sad situation all around.
I just recently played this game again on my Steam Deck and beat all 3 alignments. It’s still one of my favorite games of all time! Come on, Nintendo. I’m not even expecting a sequel anymore, but a remaster would be awesome! Do SOMETHING with Eternal Darkness again!
Been forever since I played this game. I only beat it choosing the green color. Does the Cathedral boss change depending on your choice? So i fought the green demon angel if I had chosen a different color would I have had to fight the red lobster dude or the blue worm bloke?

Just finished the game for the first time, and I was very impressed. The visuals are obviously dated, but the sound design and music is fantastic.

Yep, the cathedral boss is completely different depending on which god was selected at the start of the game.
