Elvis was perhaps the most unique individual soul, to ever incarnate on planet earth, next to Jesus of course. He was close to perfection in many ways but, he was human after all and flawed. As happy as he appeared, he was deeply lonely, uncertain of himself and troubled about his relationship with his Creator. He wanted nothing more than to know his GOD and understand life itself. That was the basis for the majority of most of his reading and thirst for knowledge. Like the rest of us, when we come in to this world at birth, we have forgotten everything we knew in the past and Elvis was no exception to this. It happens at every incarnation we experience. It will keep happening until one day, we actually temember who we are, as Jesus did.
Totally disagree! Presley was completely disconnected from normal life and working people. Tears and hugs are not symptoms of empathy but are superficial gestures. Let’s be honest. Presley wasn’t living a normal life because he didn’t have to lift a finger. Everything he wanted in terms of women was secured by his ‘mafia’ handlers and ‘yes’ men who were on his payroll! He didn’t have to do any real physical work because of his immense wealth and super stardom status. He had no marital responsibilities once his divorce came through. He never had to worry about paying bills or indeed taking any financial responsibility for anything as he was ‘managed’ by Tom Parker who took care of all of Elvis’s affairs. Thus Elvis was a free agent, who could indulge his whims to his hearts content. He was a man who wanted for nothing and could buy whatever he wanted, without any self restraint. I would contend that this lifestyle was destructive because of its narcissism.

I'm a happily married man, straight as an arrow...but DANG, he looks incredible in this footage. You can't help but stop and stare, really. God gave this guy something that nobody ever had before or ever will. Wow, just wow.
I find it ironic that Elvis himself would've found that unnecessary comment in extremely poor taste. So, in the spirit of this thread, let's put our hatred toward someone that doesn't exist, on the shelf, shall we?
+heartofalegend Religion was just another illness Elvis was clouded by. To thank or give credit to something that doesn't exist instead of the people you should really be thanking or giving credit to is what's in extremely poor taste. Get smart.
So we should thank Gladys and Vernon for Elvis' charisma, Elvis' sense of humor, Elvis' stage presence, Elvis' incredible instinct for performing a song, his intimate connection with his fans, etc? Sorry, I don't share your religious faith in Gladys and Vernon.
What a time in history. Sorry to say we shall never see the likes again. Elvis was truly unique and sent from God but with every video I see of him I yearn for those 1960s/1970s times back again. What a horrible, nasty world we have turned into and I feel so sad for the youngsters who will never know the feeling that watching and hearing this great man, gave to so many people. Looking back now it could almost all have been a dream. There’s not many of Elvis’ family and close friends left now so to them those times must also feel even more unreal. I’m just thankful that I was alive when this great man walked the earth. RIP Elvis. You are greatly missed.
There is no other celebrity today handsome than Elvis, May be that is one of the reasons, people cannot forget him even after so so many years. Love you dearly, Elvis
He is stunningly gorgeous and when he smiles he just lights up the room. Such a beautiful spirit, so sad to have lost him so early. My grandson is named Elvis too, not my idea but miss this man for sure.
This footage of taking the less congested path, the behind the scenes hotel’s personnel spaces, shows an Elvis that knows the drill, but enjoys just being Elvis…greets employees as he passes by, signing for a fan who is smitten to nearly incapacitated…lol…. It was more than looks, just the whole being. He had his eccentricities, but seemed to truly be approachable, kind and aware of those around him. He knew their stories and families and respected everyone. What a face indeed. Not a face you’d soon forget. 45 yrs later, no one is over Elvis. Now a new generation is discovering the wild cat that started it all! 😆
People rarely come along showing real concern for others , if you want to hear people who knew this man , view Joe Namath telling Johnny Carson, how Elvis took Joe’s father and had a meaningful conversation. With Joe’s Dad and this was the lasting impression of Elvis , on Joe, likewise with Muhammad Ali , they had a very personal relationship, they both knew the other for their respective talents, and acknowledged the other.
With great respect, your views of Presleys personal life don’t bear critical scrutiny. He lived a disconnected life as he was detached from meeting ordinary working people and business folk, the sort of people who make the world go around. I never remember him making any speeches about current affairs, or writing articles about the challenges facing society. Yes, Elvis had a limited education - and was certainly not an academic, but all during his career, I never remember him ever articulating concerns about anything. The press interviews were all about him - his films - clothes - girlfriends etc. I can’t ever remember him volunteering to do any any work for any organisation or travelling to any location in North America where there was a problem. He was ‘cocooned’ in film studios and entombed in his mansion called Graceland. For me, his career ended in 1963, after that date, his movie and singing career plateaued out and then went into decline. He desperately needed a change in direction in his career by 1965, so he could become a more rounded entertainer, but sadly that never happened.
How sweet thatElvis talked to those two girls and gave them his autograph and then he kissed them. Oh yeah he's too gorgeous for words. And very humble not arrogant and put off by fans like Elvis

Crazy, as a kid he wasn’t as good looking. Even when he started to become more handsome his fellow students didn’t like him, boys and girls. Wasn’t popular until he performed a song in front of them. He was an outcast/loner
His cousin, Billy Smith, has said that Elvis infrequently mentioned his twin and wondered what he would have been like. He wondered if the two of them would have performed together or if they would have had separate careers.
Aww how I would love to listen to the young girl’s memories of this encounter. Why do I have tears watching this? Geez he had something. Charisma is unmeasurable. But its more than that. When you other stars that saw Elvis in person and were rendered speechless or frozen in time. There are countless interviews with stars that say the same thing. RIP EP you are not forgotten.
It was this time of year right before my 2nd grade year. My mom told me he had died & I cried for a days, on and off. I couldn’t even start school when everyone else did. I was so upset bc I was supposed to see him in Tulsa soon. I used to say goodnight to God, Jesus & Elvis until I was quite old. Lol! I always felt, even as a young child, that he was a tortured soul & had he never became famous, he’d have been happier. He smiled & laughed but always seemed sad to me. God bless him… goodnight Elvis.
I never understood why that clip couldn't be clearer? And everytime I see some of those guys walking with him I think how they became traitors with that book and broke Elvis's heart.
I blame Rubert Murdoch and Steve Dunleavy who were on alert for just such an opportunity ---disgruntled ex employees of the world's biggest entertainer willing to spill the beans in exchange for enough cash. It cannot be believed by any stretch of the imagination that, by agreeing to pen a tell-all book, the goal was to help a former boss face his addictions and demons. Those are private issues and exposing someone's personal activities to the world is humiliating on a scale that's off the charts and serves as no motivation to fix one's life. Murdoch and Dunleavy were a couple of worthless and sadistic pr*cks looking to take down a superstar for their own sick, demented reasons. I truly hope there's a very special place in hell reserved just for them.
Don't be mad at them. They're source of income was becoming a slob drug addict so they started thinking about Numero Uno to themselves.. if I am on a ship and that bastard starts to sink I'm doing everything in my power to save myself first
@@MattHelmSA Elvis was the one that kept them afloat while they worked for him. They had plenty from him ... being catered to, cars and jewellery etc. The Mafia in the end, became too expensive and he had to let most of them go. None of them had real jobs to turn to so unfortunately, the book they wrote was the only way for them to get some readies in their pockets. No wonder Elvis felt betrayed by them.
Always cool to see behind the scenes footage of elvis. Not a ton of it. That's sort of a good thing. He had that mystery surrounding him that simply doesnt exist today.

Coolest dude that ever existed.
There is no other celebrity today
handsome than Elvis, May be that is one of the reasons, people cannot forget him even after so so many years.
Love you dearly, Elvis
Not only beauty ( that faded)but charming, charisma, kindness, talent, he had it all times 1000 ! He was the King! No one will top him, ever..
@@sugarbear1965 I agree with you
Thanks , and may god bless you
He was and IS such a giving SOUL! 🙏🏻♥️🙏🏻
Awesome rare footage... He was amazing, guessing early 70's. Love his music
Is it really in a hotel ? Or In a hospital..all the employees in the canteen are wearing white

@@flinx649 Thank you for clarifying ... it looks so sterile on the right ..and those wooden, horizontal panels everywhere made me think
Elvis with his entourage take care of business 😎so handsome👌🙏Elvis forever❤️🇦🇹
How sweet thatElvis talked to those two girls and gave them his autograph and then he kissed them. Oh yeah he's too gorgeous for words. And very humble not arrogant and put off by fans like Elvis

That shy girl in the elevator was so freaking adorable and sweet
He is in fine form here. Top of his game. Looks so happy, smiling, kind to employees, kind to fans. He's so missed.
❤️
My grandma and aunt worked as showroom servers for years at Hilton. They had a few encounters with Elvis in kitchen elevators. Said he was always very polite and respectful. I got to see him perform with my family in 75 there. Got one of his scarves. Still have it.
@@laurar43 He never seemed to let the fame go to his head. Many who are far less famous but full of attitude could learn something from him. You were so fortunate to have seen him in concert!
He was so very special, only if he knew how special he was the last few yrs of his life. Such a sad lonely end.
To live all those years in the spotlight, and still maintained a humbleness for others, RIP Elvis, for you lived with dignity, long live the King !
~Elvis was real...look how he took time to sign autograph & saw how she was crying to be so near him....& his kindness was there to embrace her.

Elvis estava mil anos luz ...da época dele!!
Coolest guy ever no question, who else looks cooler without sunglasses than with ? Would like to know where this was filmed, maybe 1971 sometime. I had a poster of him in this outfit on my wall......
I know for sure it was in Vegas.
Summer 1970, unused footage from the "That's the Way It Is" movie
Love the swagger....what would you have done or how would you have reacted if you had seen Elvis walking down the corridors of the Hilton ???
Beautiful inside and out God he was so cool. This footage is great he stands out and his hair is unreal. Can't take my eyes off him .Who else is watching in 2024❤❤❤❤
1968 - 1972 .... Elvis at his most gorgeous.
1956 watch him on Ed Sullivan show
I have to say he was hot all the way through!
And 1960 fresh out out of the Army.
Crazy, as a kid he wasn’t as good looking. Even when he started to become more handsome his fellow students didn’t like him, boys and girls. Wasn’t popular until he performed a song in front of them. He was an outcast/loner
i think elvis was gorgeous at any age !!!!
Hermoso Elvis inolvidable !!!❤️✨🕺 🤩
When he was looking his best in those days, nobody handsomer!!
Best looking man God ever created. And thats a FACT!!
Michael Jackson in 1983 is probably the best looking man ever. Lol

Yes. Amazing singer nice memories Back home, my favorites song... How are you Kathy ?
My God can you imagine if his twin Jesse had lived !! Two of them would had been hard to handle 🥰
one would have been more handsome than the other twin
That’s a good point…never thought of that
His cousin, Billy Smith, has said that Elvis infrequently mentioned his twin and wondered what he would have been like.
ELVIS WAS THE BEST.!
The best of the best ❤️
It was this time of year right before my 2nd grade year. My mom told me he had died & I cried for a days, on and off. I couldn’t even start school when everyone else did. I was so upset bc I was supposed to see him in Tulsa soon. I used to say goodnight to God, Jesus & Elvis until I was quite old. Lol! I always felt, even as a young child, that he was a tortured soul & had he never became famous, he’d have been happier. He smiled & laughed but always seemed sad to me. God bless him… goodnight Elvis.
He is so thin and so handsome
Merci pour ces jolies images. Très émouvant.
THE KING...PERIOD!
Thanks for the video I love 💕 Elvis Presley...
Same betrayal by those surrounding MJ. It seems people used them both.
Always cool to see behind the scenes footage of elvis. Not a ton of it. That's sort of a good thing. He had that mystery surrounding him that simply doesnt exist today.
Wonderful man!
Yes. Amazing singer nice memories Back home, my favorites... How are you Anna?
OMG! My beloved Elvis is so perfect, I'd cry too, like the Barbara Streisand look alike lady she couldn't believe her eyes and to have the amazing fortune of hugging, smelling and kissing Elvis!👑😍
