Jen, there are some things that are better to have and not need then need and not have. In my book a first aid kit definitely fits in the first category.

Thank you Thank you Thank you!!! We head out to Ireland Sept 3 and I was waiting on your return video to get the valuable information you were going to share with us. I have changed my packing list from what you recommended. I would have never thought of the motion sickness bands either. Thank you again.
Great video-- I've been waiting for your return as I'm leaving for Ireland/Scotland in three weeks! Never even thought about the wrist bands. Had them during an Atlantic Crossing last December and I'll also be in small van tour of both countires. Adding now to my must have packing list right now. I'm sure I'll be thanking you for the tip!!!!
I always take my powder collagen in a small container when I travel. It really helps with the knee joints with all the walking-especially on uneven surfaces.
Glad you and your mom had a great trip! I don't plan on leaving the country any time soon, but will keep your tips in mind! I have the same yellow foldable umbrella !

What month were you there? What was the temp like? We’re going in June. I’ve been taking massive amounts of notes from your videos!

Sounds like you and your mom had a wonderful time. Ireland is on my bucket list! What did you think of the Tripped method for choosing your wardrobe? Will you use it again?
You should try Reef sandals, I have two pair and I love them, they are so comfy and can be dressy and casual. My favorite is the Reef Cushion Vista Higher's. Some have sling back styles others are slip on's, but well worth it and so comfy!
I do have a couple of Reef sandals. One I took to Japan last year, and they unfortunately tore up my feet. But generally, I LOVE Reef. I'll have to try out the Vista Higher's, thanks for the suggestion 😊
@@GenxGypsy1968 I'm so sorry! I wore my Reef shoes on Jeju Do (island) in South Korea and never had a problem and I wear it everyday at home, however I am not doing a lot of hiking in them. @@traceymarshall5886 Oh no, so sorry to hear that. I live in Texas where it's humid and it does rain, but I have only worn my Reef's for shopping, not for hiking. I can see where it could cause lots of trouble when hiking!
Another comment from your mention of dried prunes: I've found most of the time prunes are part of resort and cruise breakfast buffets. However, I bring senacot and colace ALWAYS for the reasons you mentioned.
The best conditioner I use for travel comes from hair color kits from the local drugstore (CVS, Walgreens, etc). I prefer Loreal's Excellence but Preference would work too - they both have the conditioner in a tube and one tube lasts me at least a week of daily use. It is highly concentrated so a little goes a long way. I wait until I see the hair color on clearance or on sale with coupons and pick up a couple.

I actually use the app Trainwell and they have workouts that I follow... I don't have the creativity or knowledge to come up with workouts. Plus I really like to zone out when I'm working out, LOL. I'm usually watching travel RUclipsrs 😂
Thank you for sharing all that information on your trip. I'm going next spring on a Transatlantic cruise, Mediterranean and Japan for over two months with carry on and my personal bag only. I see where you could have cut back.
Yes, I've done quite a few videos where I pack carry on only, this trip didn't require it so I decided to embrace the extra room. I do have a video coming out soon with tips on how to pack lighter 😊
Yes i do several transatlantics and only ever bring carry on bags on any trip (even for 6 week trips). European airlines penalise you and charge you alot for check in luggage. Our flights dublin to barcelona then miami to dublin are only €300 total including taxes because we have carry in. Plus not worried about losing
The only way that I can get any sleep on a plane is thanks to the Trtl. I am a terrible car/plane/train sleeper but with the Trtl at least I can get some amount of rest.
I usually get a professional spray tan before a trip. However, this color is currently naturally obtained because I'm lucky (and grateful) to live on a beach 😊
That's a great question that I should have answered in the video, LOL! I think I like them equally, it's just dependent on what kind of trip I'm packing for. I think the 3-Day method is fantastic if you have a special event or adventure that you are packing for, otherwise I think doing a hybrid between the 3-Day and the 5-4-3-2-1 method would be perfect. Maybe I'll do a future video doing something like that! 😊

Unfortunately the top I'm wearing in the video is one I got at TJ Maxx about 5 years ago, sorry!! If you want to try to search for it, it's the Tahari brand 😊
You could easily buy those items in Ireland. Just go to a supermarket they sell everything including dried fruit . If anyone goes to uk we have everything you need so you don’t need to use your packing weight with toiletries or anything like that just buy it here and it is cheaper then in USA

According to our tour guide, the wine made in Ireland is terrible...so unfortunately, no suggestions. I'm a wine lover, but I drank cider and Guiness in Ireland 😊
Weird that you keep saying "She" about your suitcase. A suitcase is definitely an "It". Otherwise loved the video and can't wait to ge to Ireland myself.
Some folks gender their belongings (I’m Gen X and my cars have always been gendered and even named since undergrad). Also, currently it is a common trend to gender things (I see it a lot in my teen daughter’s generation - they will typically gender their stuff female: “I’m having a great hair day - she is giving sassy today!”).
Not weird at all! It’s perfectly fine to call the suitcase a “she”. As other folks have mentioned there are a number of things that have traditionally been gendered such as boats, ships, and cars being referred to as “she.”

No, his name was Enda...he was fantastic. But after four trips, you know how friendly and charming the Irish are 😊
Wow thats an enormous suitcase. We dont travel with that ridiculous amount in ireland
Weird that you keep saying "She" about your suitcase. A suitcase is definitely an "It". Otherwise loved the video and can't wait to ge to Ireland myself.
Mine is gendered too.. mine's a he.... mostly cause it is a pain....😂
Not weird - I name many things depending on their vibe.
Lol Irish people dont wear pochos...we know how to spot the americanz
Why are you such a cow in every comment?
Yes we have minges in ireland (not mosquitos) and yes when you encounter them at dusk it is awful as they do bite
