    Hi boss, is it necessary to make the corner a bewel?to reduce a concentration of stresses or what? Any mechanics behind it?

      Yeah for the cope the reason the bevel corner is still done on part of the flange is to reduce the length of the main square cope that is in the web. The advantage of this style of cope and cut is the cope across the web is like a standard cope and shop doesn’t have to bevel cut across the web on the flange.
