Remember John's flash-forward to 17 years in the future during War Without End. Delenn, telling him _"We did, everything we set out to do. But the price, John. The terrible, terrible, price."_
The only possible flaw I have in that scene is that, if you're a ship captain who orders the enemy to stand down... and they refuse and start citiing their lineage? You don't sit there and listen to it, you OPEN FIRE while they're still talking!! I can only reconcile it by telling myself they were slightly out of range at the time. That said, the speech is pure badassery and badassitude.
There are so many things going on this season, one big event after another. It's such a rollercoaster. I will say that there was no way that Garabaldi could have redeemed himself if he had done a "mission on his own". Even if he did free Sheridan and showed up on Mars or B5 with Sheridan, who would trust him? Their thinking would be that this could easily be just another trick by him.
Agamemnon was not the first to land at Troy, but as the High King he assumed charge of bringing all the various leaders and their ships together on the assault on Troy.
@@ianstopher9111 Ah, my memory was faulty. You're right, it's the Apollo, I was thinking it was the Achilles. Which was Hagues ship as I recall. Scratch that.
I'm not gonna spoil anything ..... but you NEED to get to the closing episodes of the series soon as possible!! - the next few are among B5's finest as the fight continues!
This whole group of 4 or 5 episodes were so disturbing, and emotionally painful, intense, and, just incredible. Only matched by Z'Hadum - Into the Fire.
This episode, more than any other, shows the frantic pace at which the story had to proceed to finish the main story arc before the end of the Season. In a sane universe, Garibaldi's redemption should have taken taken at least two episodes. At the time of filming, everyone was resigned to the fact that Season 4 was the last Season. Oh well.
Actually, we have had really big deaths. We've seen G'Kar and Londo kill each other in the future. It doesn't seem certain, but it does happen. When the time comes, remember the motto of the Rangers. "We live for the One. We die for the One."
4th season movies to see before you start 5th season.
"Thirdspace"
"In the Beginning"
This.
Absolutely!

Now that is what I call a reaction ... Ivanova ... and what happens to Marcus.
Be seeing you!
Keffer: No one mourns my death

For me, the Agamemnon decision is symbolic - it means that the fleet fighting to retake Earth is lead by an Earth ship.
Now on to next week!

Oh. My.
I've only just realised the totally overt Iliad reference in next week's episode.
Not including the fact that Apollo fought for the Trojan side?

Sheridan got over being dead: super easy, barely an inconvenience
