Bravo Ghindin for the most spectacular 'Auf dem wasser zu singen' I've heard. No one else brings such a thundering joy to the climax as he does.
Magnifiques interprétations, bravo !❤
What a great homage to Schubert by Liszt. From one great composer to the next. Liszt the forever visionary. Seeing the piano more than a mere accompaniment to the voice - the very vehicle of every emotion and instrument. Every instrument can be expressed on the piano. Who had thought so deeply about this than Franz Liszt? Such sensitive transcriptions of Schuberts songs. I love Franz Liszt. He was one of the greatest composers and musicians that ever ever lived and will probably exist for a long time still to come. He foresaw the rise of impressionism in his Annees de Pelerinages, laid the foundation for Wagnerian cromaticism and the endless melody into musical nirvana. There are many people who would label Liszt as empty. He is far from empty. And the musicians who knew him best knew better. We judge him because of our jealousy of what he achieved and which we would never be able to achieve in our own lifetime without a great inspiration and effort. These transcriptions elevate the piano to a new world than a mere bass and melody into something so mystical and beautiful and evocative. Viva the legacy of Liszt forever!
You write so beautifully on Liszt, Benjamin Sawyer, I wonder if you have read Alan Walker's acclaimed 3-volume tome on Franz Liszt. Also, there is a group of Liszt's Rhapsodies on YT performed by one Balint Vazsonyi. If you are interested in really interesting and unusual, rarely performed Rhapsodies, listen to his numbers 17, 3 and 5 performed by Vazsonyi. There are others, also. There is also an unusually meaningful recording of the Liszt Sonata by the same performer. Highly recommended. No showing off.
@@bvbwv3 Thanks! Yes, while I was studying my BMus in Western Classical Music, I read his 3 volume tome on Franz Liszt. I devoured it! I'm going to have a look for Balint Vazsonyi now :-)
Well said Benjamin, i share your thoughts, liszt is legendary.
I admire Franz Liszt, too. Unfortunately, many experts underestimate him musically.
you all prolly dont give a shit but does anybody know a method to get back into an Instagram account?
I somehow lost my login password. I would appreciate any help you can offer me.
Magnifique!
Sublime !!! Une merveille ces transcriptions de Liszt👌🎹 🎼
An interesting download, thank you. Liszt's transcriptions are amazing.
This is superb! I'm supposed to go to bed now, but I can't leave this. Many thanks!
Meraviglioso ! Grazie !
Gran pianista !!!!!
Thank You😭
grande musica. liszt sempre grandioso. schubert forse troppo lisztiano.
Lovely!
Thank you for your video!
May I have each title of music.
Beautiful music, but the amount of ads here feels very abusive…
Ghindin plays those really well, shame the upload is so compressed.

Are these four hands written?!?
If LISZT got 10% of Schuberts musical creativity he would be by far the greatest musician of all times
Don't talk bollocks.
What an idiotic comment.
Os dejo algunos Schubert Liszt interpretados por Sergei Yerokhin

He must be playing on a gigantic piano because the overtones from the lower strings drive my ears a bit crazy. I want to hear a more intimate sound than this conveys.
On the hand, the overtones from the lower strings ARE the piano accompaniment, while the upper voices beginning from around middle-c is the singer's voice. Of course, Liszt knew what he was doing in these creative transcriptions.

Lots of notes. Where is the music?
Presumably this comment was written for the sake of being stupid.
Well, it certainly succeeded.
Which ones would YOU take out?
@@martinbennett2228 kind of guy who thinks playing like a 4th grader is a more musical achievement.
Liszt casi incomparable ,video bellisimo .Gracias por publicar
