I thought about that but I wanted to get more sounds out of this guy. I went from 8 watts in stereo to 45 watts a piece. Plus they sounds way better! I really wanted to try and save the cassette player but I didn’t have room for a stepper and inverter that would make the correct voltages. I would love to do a little bit bigger one and save the tape player.
It would have been cooler if you got a cassette to aux adaptor and played music that way.. upgrading the speakers with non Bluetooth ones and leaving everything stock would have been neat.. people like the vintage sound from these things. Plus Bluetooth also compresses audio and it will sound worse compared to aux. What you did is kind of cool. But i don't understand how if a Bluetooth speaker sucks, putting some in a boombox case somehow makes them better?
I get the draw. But for me the old speakers were not nearly up to snuff and rechargeable batterys are my personal way to go. It's been to the beach quite a few times now!
Great videos!! Im a beginner and wanted to know if i can replace new speakers into my old Panasonic boombox? If so can i simply use 6 inch car speakers? If not what do you recommend..cheers
Quite possible, I'll check when I get home. The link may have changed. No, unfortunately. This is all I have, I didn't film all of the parts. I only decided to make the video after I built it. I film all of my projects now, stay tuned for new ones.
I actually need to do an update to this video. The way I mounted the speakers was dumb and they fell out. I'll make an update to the box video this year at some point....lol i never did.
You have a dirt stache dude
Thanks for keeping me, real! Molly!
Davey G. I got you😂
You shouldn't get rid of the parts all you have to do is add a Bluetooth amplifier if the boom box had an anxury input

Good job Man, and also entertainment
I m from the 74, i got your point.
Thanks, glad you liked it!
i prever using a bluetooth to casette adapter in my boombox. keeps the original unchanged

much glue was used to make this work of art..
MUCH Glue!
Comment les hauts parleurs sont-ils fixés? À la colle? 😮
J'ai bien l'impression que l'investissement est trop onéreux pour ce petit Sony. Il faudrait un gros Ghettoblaster genre Palladium pour le style 😉
Where is the link for the for the picture 4:22 I can't find it

That's the one I used!
did you forget to supply the "picture for the wiring diagram down below"?

is there a tutorial video of you making it

It's great. But FAR too useful. Give the crap sounding authentic boombox. ;) excellent video and looks and sounds great.
Boom! Thanks!
@@DaveyGjust curious. Do you remember what the music in the beginning is called?
Did we need to change the stock speaker to the new one?
Not if you don't want to. but the new ones sound way, better.
You'd have to keep the volume down on the amplifier to not much louder than the old one to avoid blowing the speakers.
Keep on going
Before transformation of boombox into Bluetooth speaker try keep most original the device most possible
The way you described boomboxes hurts me.
Mmmm good, was exactly what I was aiming for.
@@DaveyG To be fair, ya said "None of it's necessary", meanwhile, that is a *bare bones* cassette deck.

Sick af
Name of model?
