One nice surprise comes where we would least expect it... in a Doordash warmer bag. I didn't think they delivered these, so why would they be there?

The helmet is not by DOT. The DOT sticker is for helmets that meet department of transportation standards. Some states require the DOT sticker on helments.
That's hilarious because I did not know that. I keep thinking "Boy, this DOT company has the market cornered. I always find them!" Thanks for shedding light on that for me!

They would sell it on eBay if the value is over $20 plus shipping, I believe. Otherwise they flea market the item.
Rub paracetamol tablets on to a warm iron. Gunk comes clean off. A few dollars thrown away there.

The time to clean it is not worth the money. Irons, especially old dirty ones, do not sell at the flea market. I recently had a very nice quality iron with only a small spot on the face (which could be cleaned). I tried to get $5 and brought it out 3 times before selling for a dollar. And that was a nice newer one!

I did look them up, but they don't have much value. I sold them for $10 at the market.

I love Nuts.com. One of my favorite shops for powdered organic superfood, plant foods and all kinds of other stuff. I know about a lot of weird stuff and I have no idea what those triangular stones were about.

I sold them for a buck each at the flea market! Doh!!! I realized it later in editing the video when I looked them up. As a general rule, I should always look up anything that comes via mail order like that from the company. Usually it's big bucks.
I used to clean houses and the dirtiest client I had was a medical doctor! Needless to say, not my Dr!

We do normally donate or sell to Half Priced Books. Hard to tell from the videos, but this particular person was extremely dirty. Everything was sticky to the touch, and coffee stains over much. I found a bag of rat traps, used. Who keeps that? And the smell. I put aside a small pile of stuff to bring home and research. It's sitting about 10 feet from my desk, and literally my entire garage stinks of it. I burned a candle all day yesterday to mask it, but I'll be quicker to process that and figure out what to do with the items (which are mostly higher end stuff, like the projector and hair dye kits). Paper in particular absorbs and retains odors. I can only imagine the filthy state of her home. The movers put it all in clean moving boxes, so we didn't know how gross stuff is until we dig in. For stuff like that, I don't typically donate it because I feel we are burdening the thrift stores with ruined goods.

The iron bottom can be cleaned off very easily you are just wasted $$$$
