    Good video. I recommend adding 3 things. First, maybe discuss the 3 or 4 big shopping malls in Bangkok and also the many outdoor markets. Most tourists love shopping when in Bangkok. Also mention that haggling is recommended IF the price of an item isn't on the label. Second I would mention that Marijuana is legal now in Thailand and there are many 'Weed" shops but also many of these shops have bars that customers can relax in and smoke what they purchase. Third, I would mention that there are some scams in some Massage shops and also not to usually trust promoters of after hours clubs.

    Where can I find cheap area in bangkok. I don't need fancy stores. I'm looking for a area that has day/ night markets daily thats walking distance. My wife loves that " fleemarket " vibe. Street hawker/food cart type of area with some mosque near. We stayed in the talat phlu area which was nice however we got tired of walking 15mins to the train station. Any suggestions I can research?

      Rod Fai night market is a good one. Wang lang Market is another one not far from Wat Arun. There's always Chatachuk market which is the biggest in Bangkok. Hope that helps

    I'd love to visit Bangkok! The temples look amazing and honestly 10 pounds isn't much more than a lot of museums or tourist attractions in the US. Many are a lot more to be honest. Mmm street food. The markets and the parks would be my jam. What a city! I get you on spending 4 years there and just barely getting to understand the city. You could easily make a video on each of those day trips. So cool.

    Wat Prakaoe is a temple with the grand palace in same grounds. Wat Pho is my favourite and currently for wat arun still cannot climb all way up. The photo you used for Chatachack is actually rot fai which was closed, said to be permanent but recently re opened. For street food, if not careful you can and will get ill if chose wrong food. The worst is som tam with meat that is open on stall which they dont heat and just mix it with the som tam, my thai wife was very ill with this recently lol I even told her not to eat it.For day trips I would add ancient city in BK which is a really good day out. Tip for taxi from airport, go to level 4 where taxis drop off and they are desperate to pick up a fare before airport police usher them off. I have been offered farse half usual price to bangkok, Pattaya and Prachinburi.

    An amazing video, but the music being 400% louder than your voice is not helping things.
    We dont wanna be jumpscared when watching a video like this, everytime you stop speaking.
    Next time do check the audio levels to see that there arent huge jumps.

    • @BangkokJack858
      @BangkokJack858  Год назад +1

      If you use getyourguide.com it allows you to compare tour guides and companies. You can also do it in the activities section of AirBnB. For the most part uts the same price doingbit with someone once you get here but these sites allow to know that you're not getting ripped off and to book tickets beforehand. Hope that helps

    If you go to this beautiful city (Bangkok) you have to be careful to one thing: Around you can find tuk-tuk drivers that for a really small amount they bring you around(so you say okay let's go). At a certain point of the trip, they bring you to a travel agency(okay it can be useful you think). In these agencies, they charge you a lot of money for nothing. They make you believe that they are going to give you a big service but that is false. Yakkoo travel is one of this agencies

    • @BangkokJack858
      @BangkokJack858  Год назад

      Thats never happened to me but I can imagine it. For the most part i think the Tuk Tuk drivers are trustworthy (providing you agree a price beforehand), but they are very aware that thery are dealing with people who are unfamilar with the area so could take advantage
