I never comment on these videos but thank you so much for your help to us amateur seamstresses as we learn. You have a very soothing, warm approach that says "You can do this" without you having to say it aloud. I really appreciate that warmth when I have to watch and rewatch videos as I make garments. Not everyone has that quality!
Thank you so much for this. I am returning to sewing after a decade (!) away, and was getting confused with the waistband instructions. Your video made it crystal clear! :)
I love the idea of flattening out the pockets. I was drawn to this pattern but I am plus sized so don't need any additional bulk around my hip area. Thanks for the idea.
Oh I’m over the moon to have discovered your channel! Love how you explain complicated techniques with simplicity, clear instructions, and the calm music!
I am so glad I found you! I had to make a toole skirt for my daughters birthday party and she had faith in me to be able to make one even though my sewing skills are less than mediocre. I made 2 skirts instead of one. I was able to do it but I wish I had known about your channel because you are very thorough even with your sewing machine. Thank you for sharing your talents with us!
Great tutorial! I have this pattern but have only made the other view, this gives me the confidence to try the flat-felled seams! I will be checking out your shops too as I am also in Canada.
Thank you, Emma! Glad to hear that you get confidence on making the other view! Feel free to ask if you have any questions while following this tutorial!
Thank to share with us your knowledge and all the best on your New Journey 👍 I have a request can you teach us how to fix machine stitch sometime when we sew something it’s leave thread on how we could fix by ourselves that stitch problem ?
Thank you so much! ❤ I would love to answer your question but it's hard to understand! Please explain the issue on your stitch with more details, so I can answer you back!
It depends on your sewing level and the price range you are planning to use on the machine! 😉 I rarely change my presser foot. I usually work with either a zigzag foot (the regular foot) or a walking foot.
Beautiful video and pattern. Two questions: How do you mark the wrong side from the right in this project? I have a pink and gray linen check, 4 mm size. How can I possibly match the check with all those panels which are cut on an angle? Thanks!

thanks for your help! What do you mean by sewing a few locations to secure the elastic? Thank you.
You're welcome! It will keep from you finding the elastic rolled in a twisted mess.😉 Happy sewing!
Hi,Sarah, please I love to have your gypsum skirt pattern please.
Please do a sew along for the estuary skirt!
I'm actually working on it!😊
Which sewing machine would you recommend? Do you use different feet attachments?
It depends on your sewing level and the price range you are planning to use on the machine! 😉 I rarely change my presser foot. I usually work with either a zigzag foot (the regular foot) or a walking foot.
Do you shorten the patterns you make? I'm 5' 4" too. I love your videos. You've literally taught me to sew! Thank you!
No I don’t shorten the patterns! 😊 Aww I’m honoured! Hope you’re enjoyin your new hobby!

Thank you always, Jo! I answered your question via Instagram! Hope it helps!
Plz make a tutorial on bohemain irregular hem summer skirt
Haha! I will consider! Thanks for the suggestion!😊
Love this pattern but can it be adjusted to have a zipper and where can I buy the pattern? Thank you
There's no instruction on how to add a zipper in this pattern yet you will be able to adjust it! You can buy PDF/hard copy at Sew Liberated website!
Thank you so much for this tutorial! I have one question, did you use a seam allowance?
I believe the seam allowance from the pattern was 3/8".
What weight denim did you use?
This fabric is light-midweight pigment washing linen!😊
This is so helpful! Thank you!
Thanks for watching! I'm glad I could help!
