I think part of this comes from his professionalism and knowing he is a guest with another group that he is not a normal part of, and as much of a showman he is he also knows when he can be the spotlight and when he can be background and does it well with grace

This band is splattier than me after I ate that Chinese takeout I found on the subway. Except the Alto sax player. She sounds like someone trying to play melodiously and with musical integrity and somehow doesn't sound like a hemorrhoid having an aneurysm; and yet the others don't seem to attack her. She must be the one who knows how to pull permits from city hall. Freakin' NYC, man. Who knows
@@michaelkiese7794 Not really. The sum cost of all the instruments on camera probably is more than the sum total of the student loans owed but if thinking that helps you cope go off 💅
@@triadbrass I have a hard time believing that the instruments cost more than the sum total of student loan debt of the musicians on camera. You guys sound good, and kudos to putting yourselves out there. The fact that the musicians on screen are most likely drowning in student loan debt has nothing to do with the credit they deserve for putting themselves out there. Having said that, why go to music conservatory just to dress up silly, and busk on the streets and subways to play covers of 50 year old pop songs? College degrees not needed for that. You guys are good wind instrument players. I bet you all went to conservatory. And it follows that not all of you had 100% scholarships/waivers. Thus, student loans. Tuition is expensive, so is subsidizing the cost of living while going to University. It is what it is. Choices.
