The one drawback with your fabulous channel Sam , is that you cannot smell these creations, this one in partic is interesting

  • @Shawn-gw7ns

I think you should continue your darker theme separately, the scene you describe is interesting and i think personally a great idea to follow(the herbs, forgotten place and so on)

Got my travel size Amber Shadow yesterday from Scent Trunk. Wow! You really nailed this one! Very unusual and certainly gives the scent of an old library. I don't think this is one I would wear often in public, but for my own pleasure at home. This is a real perfumer's art masterpiece IMO.

    😍sounds amazing!!!

Went out and bought Amber Shadow so that I could smell as I watched! Great, unique scent that does exactly what you say it does. Great to be able to smell the individual notes as you talk about it and show the artwork. Please keep up the fantastic work, I am learning so much by watching your channel!

is there any retailer in Europe?

  • @user-qg7bw5cj1o

    Congratulations 👏

  • @imdrecordings

I got mine a couple weeks back and can't really gel with it. There's something in it that reminds me of an old rug I had that a cat urinated on, a lot and I can't get past it. Where does that "catty" thing likely come from? I don't mean to offend, it's just what smells very pronounced for me and makes it unwearable. Wish I could, since I enjoy your channel.

Hey i have been following you for a long time. Thanks alot . I have been able to set up my own business too. And btw that moustache suits you alot. You should try keeping it always xD love from India❤

  • @Deivid_C

I would love to see you creating a perfume inspired by a fairy kingdom in the middle of a forest during fall. The forest has oaks and beech trees, mushrooms, smell of moss and fir cones, and a sweet smell of sweet desserts with pralines and cinnamon freshly cooked by the wood fairies.

  • @aidanpang

got the perfume today and the smell is absolutely wonderful. It starts with amazing tea aroma top note, and then the wood note starts to kick it. I especially love how it's woody/dark but also have a light tea scent which doesn't make the whole perfume overpowering. A perfect autumn/winter cozy ambience. Thanks for making such a nice perfume.

  • @jeffgray4075

I truly want to smell both, but the original you describe sounds incredible. That is to say, it's "Dark Academia", not "More Approachable Academia." 🤷🏿‍♂️

  • @LadyKeesh

🎉Congratulations Sam! Your hard work has certainly paid off! Truly happy for you!🎉

  • @DaveNYC

So fascinating to hear someone give a forthright, almost step by step description of how they went about making a perfume. I’m sure it was even more time consuming than it sounded, but it gave great insight into the process! Mostly, perfumers make it so vague. They like you to think it’s magic lol😂

  • @Thuja814

Ah! I love oakwood extract for the sweet whisky notes, a bit of Drunk Academia :) That Robertet natural apricot is much better than the peach (yuck!) I was using it last night with an outstandingly beautiful and citrusy Rosa alba otto and an artisanal blackcurrant absolute which smells like candy. Ambroxan from clary sage? Wow, science.

  • @ronit6154

Omg I love Scent Trunk so much. Can't wait to try this.

  • @sazennonumber

I love your process, both the visual part and the scent-composing. You went into it with true passion, exploring the possibilities. And what an amazing blend you chose! I loved your visuals too.

  • @MarciRaney-tt8ev

Im so excited to find you! Got into perfumery a few years ago. Stopped and was just thinking about it again and there you are.

  • @Valiant.Unicorn

Thank you for sharing, this was fun:) cant wait to try it❤❤
