I spent about $1k with legal zoom and I still wasn’t able to operate my business because I needed to file for my business registration certificate myself. I refiled with the state and it only cost about $150… it’s best to just file with your state, I would have saved $1k…
Only black male musicians are relegated or refer to themselves as “Unc” etc it’s amazing that all I repeat ALL other musicians can simply be musicians. That must end. A real musician doesn’t even hit their stride artistically or sonically until they are in their mid 30s-mid 40s. Fun fact. A man’s voice doesn’t even MATURE FULLY until he’s you guessed it 40. That’s a slight to black men quite honestly and a poor reference point when it comes to anything artistic. Now if you wanna say “rappers” yeah okay it’s a child’s genre in many ways commercially. But an artist? Musician? Music producer? That’s not accurate in the slightest. It’s another slight toward brothas in particular. Let’s be real here. A man can have a MICKEY MOUSE HEADPIECE and tour until he’s dead in EDM/Trance but a brother can’t make MUSIC because of his date of birth? No sir.
Have you seen the recent videos of AC/DC, Poison, Motley Crue, Axel Rose, etc? Those guys should have hung it up years ago. It's not always a race thing, dude. Stop with the victim mentality already. I'll disagree with the prime years thing too. Most the guys I mentioned have never topped their freshman, sophomore albums. Hip Hop is the same alot of the time. Illmatic, Southernplayerslistic, Ready to Die, 36 Chambers, on and on.
