@@jerseyworms5275 Buying commercial chow for the colony the family runs for our beardie breeding project has been getting harder and harder financially. I really need to start experimenting with mixes. I have given them like rolled corn/oats, random stuff they seem to like that I can get "free". I just worry I'll give them something they arent supposed to, or accidently not give them something they need nutritionally. Now if only I could afford the quantities needed to run in the FIL feed mixer. Thanks for the advice.
If you use substrate they won't smell as bad.

What's the best temperature for breeding?
I prefer 84 degrees. I think it keeps them warm but not scrambling to cool down.
