Indeed a great way to spend the day Rob. Using a light tip is good for not moving the feeder, as you said, but for me it is also better for the bold effect. Just one dead maggot is indeed amazing, gonne try that. Thnx

Great video Rob, but unfortunately living in the West Midlands 99% of our commercial venues don't allow groundbait of any kind, but I still learned a few things ...👍🎣

Hi Rob, great video as always. Im struggling to find any information on how to approach an evening match. 6-9pm in the summer. Running rigs only no bolt alowed .4 acre lake. Chub/carp/barbel/skimmers/perch/bream/roach all decent size fish. I only do rod fishing. Mainly feeders. Ive done cage and method. Not tried banjo style yet , maybe next week. How would you approach a match like that ? The lake is not exactly commercial beccause its not rammed with f1 or carp it has more of a natural feel to it and it only gets fed when people are fishing. I keep playing with hooklengths. ive Only allowed 5 minutes before recast so i will increase the time allowed up to 10 next week . Ive only fished it twice. I feel like cage feeder catches more fish in shallow water. Should i fish more natural baits like worm/maggots/deads . Or more wafter hookers on a spike/band. Both work but ive not worked out yet what bait work better. Feels a million questions but all that runs through my mind whilst in a match. Any tips would be much appreciated
