The recipe: 1 cup of semisweet chocolate chip 1/2 cup of butter (unsalted) emmit the added salt from recipe if you do ise salted 1/2 cup granulated sugar Vanilla paste, bean or extract dont know how much just measure with your heart Pinch of Salt 3 1/2 large eggs or 4 medium sized 1/2 cup of cocoa powder I loved this recipe it came out almost fudgy and very rich, and was very low maintenance
I made this cake today. My cakes don’t come out as expected (they forget to rise) so I wasn’t expecting great things. The cake is the best cake I’ve ever baked. It’s a genius recipe and so so easy to make! Thank you :)
Just finished making two of these for a cake for my mom’s birthday. For me it came out spongy instead of crusty which I actually prefer since I’ll be icing it. I was using wider flatter pans so maybe that’s why this happened; idk. The batter tastes amazing and it wasn’t that hard to take out of the pan, just don’t let it bend too much or it will crack. This worked great, thanks a lot.
Looks good. I've seen other videos for flourless choc cake where they separated the eggs. They said the egg whites helped the cake to rise, I think. Can you explain why you didn't separate the eggs but it still seems to work? Thanks! Enjoyed the video.
1st: you are awesome and hiiiiilarious! luv yer dog and folks in the background too. sounds like lotsa luv over there! i made a diff version of this cake today with just semi sweet chocolate chips melted and eggs separated and whipped to stiffish peaks. turned out pretty good but too sweet cuz of choco chips. This recipe looks easier in a way and actually less messy than the so called 2 ingredient one. so many to choose from but i subbed right away to yer channel cuz i love yer vibe and apron. Rock on ...xoxo from Quebec, Canada...the hills(rural)
I love your video. Where can I find a written recipe? Also love that you have Leonard as a part of your video and your kitchen and apron are simply FABULOUS!!! I'm jealous! I do see maryam taj wrote some of the ingredients down below, but I need detail! :)
Jo Scoulos hey! We are currently in the process of creating our new website and we will keep everyone informed when it launches… All the recipes as well as exclusive content will be available!!! We know we are behind with this and all will be righted very soon!! Thanks for watching!!!
To avoid breaking the delicate cake, use double plate method. Put a plate just smaller than the diameter of the cake on top of it, invert and take cake out of pan, now you have upside down cake on a plate. Put serving plate on top of inverted plated cake, And invert cake again. You now have an intact cake... sitting on its serving plate. No risk of breakage.
Randy is there somewhere your fans can read what I know would be hysterical comments about pretentious people ("I'm on a gluten-free diet.")? I'm sure I'd fall down laughing!!!
Smug comment about friends being gluten free... some people legitimately have to avoid it to feel well... just because you can eat it don't degrade those of us who legitimately can't...
Very nice video....except when you carry your dog with your kitchen apron on...ugggggg, you lost me there! I will be afraid of finding a dogs hair on the cake or somewhere else on the kitchen. I will try your recipe for sure
What dog? Did you mean her child? My 3 walk thru my kitchen and I'm particularly conscious of them around food items. I think people who feel as you do don't attend Randi' s parties. I do however understand your concern. I love these videos and Leonard!!!!
Great recipe I tried it and loved it. You're adorable but talk to much. Your humor is just fine but you tend to drone on and I almost clicked the to the next recipe. However Im glad I didn't as I liked your version. You could have just done the same thing in less time.
You are definitely a female born, who likes cooking like I do ,but while I am very sure and enjoy my gender, you are giving mixed messages to your viewers, excluding myself, as to what gender you want to identify with.I came across your video while looking for flowerless chocolate cakes recipes.

2:16: I like that you contacted the vendor to ask for help. Some folks would have written off the flour and moved on to another brand😊
I like her! She’s sweet and gives you the lowdown!

Or instead of a 9 minute talk of crap that no one and I mean no one cares about how about a recipe, what a novel idea!.
I care!!!!!
Great, me and virtually everyone else doesn't !!!.
