I certainly had no problem when it was allowed in the past few yrs to do nfc playoff games like old times
The Packers of the year before beat the 49ers at Candlestick then sadly the next year the Packers reverted back to their losing ways. They had close games they couldn't win and it was a huge disappointment. Then in 91 Packers really bottomed out until 92 when Mike Holmgren and a certain backup QB would come in.
They actually had a winning record at the start of December: 6-5 before losing out
