I don’t know how you two popped up on my feed but I’m sure glad you did. Watching your videos about LA you two are truly sharing all of LA and I appreciate that. Now I’m watching this video enjoying it. Thanks for sharing your experiences
3:38 OMG I shouted out loud when Haimen Yuzai Restaurant showed up!!! Couldn't have thought you guys would stumble upon one of my favorite restaurants featuring the taste of my mom's homwtown Haimen (which is near Shantou). The place offers authentic Teochew flavors through freshly prepared ingredients at a decent price, without sacrificing the ambience. Super nice choice!🎉
Omg! That's amazing. There were so many options and we're so happy choosing this spot. Looking to spend more time in Shenzhen our next time there. Thanks for sharing 🙌
You're so right. Next time we visit, we will stay for at least 3 days. This trip we just wanted a taste of it since it was so close to Hong Kong. Will take any recs if you have any 🙌
Haha, we wondered the same. I think partly due to the 17K steps each day and how fulfilled we feel after each day, we're able to relax and get some rest! Great question and thanks for watching 🙌
great question! we didn't know this at the time but apple maps works in china and has access to english/pinyin version of dianping (chinese yelp). for our trip, we just marked key areas with what little coverage google maps (like coco park in shenzhen) 🙌
@@VicandJeff 古德墨柠(Gudemoning)is only available in Changsha, which specializes in lemon tea. It was so good, my wife and I had 10 of their drinks in one day 😂
It's hard to find places in china on Google maps but this location has an accurate pin on Google maps loc: maps.app.goo.gl/UcH4hEPHvNctPgyu7?g_st=com.google.maps.preview.copy

How long for the typhoon was?
What app did you guys use to navigate your eats and drinks on during your visit? I’m going next year so I gotta plan ahead thanks!

As a person living in Guangzhou for 2 years, 等我鎹上门 is my first recommendation to friends who visiting Guangzhou. Good choice.
Omg. We feel so lucky to have stumbled upon this gem. Will have to get recs from you for our next visit to Guangzhou and the Greater Bay area 🙌
I miss China so much. I had the best drink in Changsha at 古德墨柠.
Thanks for sharing. We had to Google translate that! We hope to visit Changsha in the future 🙌

i would have saved all the beautiful free bags : ) i hope you can get a longer trip in the future.
Haha, you might just see all the bags in a future episode. We left some with my (Jeff) parents and they brought it back for us! 🙌
18:48…where is this part in guangzhou? Do you have the exact address?

@@VicandJeffthank you so much. I will put it on my guangzhou visit list for next time.
@@VicandJeff在中国建议你用苹果地图❤❤
yes, we used apply maps a lot, found some good options with the dianping integration 🙌
is it Cantonese or Mandarin spoken there?
Both as we spoke (tried) Mandarin and responded in Cantonese if spoken to 😅
