Indeed. It doesn't seem as if the season is almost over.

It's hard to believe that the season is about over, it seems like it just started! I don't know where the summer has gone.

How is your leg. I have a TKR in my future. It will be done in Charleston, SC. I am wanting it out of the way, but not looking forward to it.

My knee is about the same as it has been for the last year. My bend is 120+, I can straighten it completely and the strength is fine. However, the muscles just above the knee ache all the time and my knee always feels stiff.

Have fun working on your boat over the winter. Sorry to hear about the constant pain in your knee. I'm having a TKR this Friday. Not looking forward to this at all.

@@marshallallaben1757 I hope your surgery goes well. In my experience the surgery itself wasn't a big deal. I had essentially zero pain while I was in the hospital (about 30 hours). Now the recovery is different. I can say a couple of things. 1) do your pain management as they tell you to. It is easier to stay ahead of pain than to catch up and 2) do the exercises the physical therapists tell you. Don't over do it, but don't let the exercises slide either. Good luck!

@@todddunn945 Thank you for sharing your TKR experience. I have my pain meds and ice machine all set up and ready to go. I'll be coming home Saturday and my physical therapist will be here Sunday. Let the fun begin.

@@todddunn945 That is exactly what concerns me. I am bone on bone, but do not have horrible pain. I am afraid I may be worse after the surgery. I had repeated sinus surgeries, and I think I was better off before than now.
