A fun trap-filled treasure hunting adventure. Even beyond its art and high production value, what really sets it apart from other fangames is the puzzle elements built into each level, and the all of secrets to find. The treasures are optional unless you're going for 100%, but they add a lot to even a normal playthrough of the game.
However, if you do decide to go for all of them, collecting the secrets can be both the best and worst part of the game. Because of the wide variety in type and difficulty, you're likely to run into some that you really don't like. The final 3 trials are all pretty rough in their own way, but for me, the climbing challenges were the game's absolute low point, and the fact that there were 3 different kinds was brutal. But the vast majority of the treasure hunt was a good time, and if you can power through the worst of it, you unlock the final snowy mountain stage. It's long and difficult, but honestly wasn't even as bad as I was expecting for how hard the rest of the game already was, and I thought it was a great ending. If you can make it this far, you'll be prepared to beat it.
Even with a few odd difficulty spikes and a few challenges I didn't love, this is a fantastic game, and a rare level of quality and originality for fangames. Highly recommend trying it out.
