Vangelus for the love of god man just make a movie, your intro cutscenes are getting so good I want a whole movie based on them, even if it's just you moving your transformers around and doing voices!
With standing Bruticus I've found that moving one hip back a click allows him to stand up straight and also doesn't cause the legs to look like one is further back than the other the only time it's clear that one is moved back is when you pick him up it's a cool little trick that I found out by messing with him
I'm on mobile and worked far too hard to get to this video early. Well worth it though, the dramatized bits were awesome as per normal, and the shake from robot mode to torso mode was probably the best little visual trick yet.

The black head makes him very intimidating and badass as for onslaught himself havin tbe foc colors i dig it . All and all i too love this bruticus he's my favorite combiner and having a bruticus with half g1 half idw design is legit
I love your reviews and I love the sequences you put together with the toys to complement them. The sound effects and actions come together really well and it's very evocative of the kind of super robot anime transformation sequences you're trying to evoke. If I had one criticism it's that the sequences feel a little claustrophobic. There are long stretches where the camera is just a couple of inches away from the toys. I realise this is a limitation that's difficult to avoid since you have to avoid your hand appearing in shot. I think that it's not so noticeable in the shorter sequences, but when they stretch out (as is the case here, where there are many toys deserving of the spotlight), it starts to feel a little cramped. I'm only giving this critique because I love your work and I know you pour your heart and soul into it. Keep up the good work!

Continuing to play in that space is both part of the draw for me, and an ever-present ceiling on what's possible. But I will keep trying to punch that ceiling an inch or two away from the floor!
I wanna get him, especially since he has the extra Scrounge figure. That and it does have a look more to the toys than the animation. Don't get me wrong I love animation accuracy, but I love the creative liberties taken.
Bruticus is my all time favorite ever since I received the G2 variant when I was a kid. So I was ecstatic when I found that they were re-making this awesome team. So far I am 3 out of the 5 done, so I have Onslaught, Vortex, and Brawl just chilling by themselves for now. But, my Onslaught has a very loose right knee. I've never done the Pledge tightening job, but I will try that tonight.

And might I make a few suggestions for if you review the pieces for Sky-Reign and Optimus Maximus? Since you use Scramble Formation for the Aerialbots, Scramble Ignition for the Stunticons, Scramble Protocol for the Protectobots, and with this you used Scramble Assault for the Combaticons... Perhaps something Sky-Lynx says before combining with Bluestreak, Hound, Wheeljack, and Trailcutter/Trailbreaker (whichever you're more comfortable calling him), Sky-Lynx says, "Okay then 'bots. Time to show these old dogs how a REAL combiner works. Scramble Assent!" I think Scramble Assent works because Sky-Lynx is so full of himself, like, all the time, and since he's really the only flyer of the Sky-Reign team, it could get on the nerves of the others, making Wheeljack note, "One of these days I'm gonna weld his big mouth shut." As for Optimus Maximus, perhaps him saying while Sunstreaker, Prowl, Ironhide, Rodimus, and Blurr are surrounding him, he could say, "Autobots, the time has come to light the darkest hour of this war. Scramble Circuit!" Tis is a bit of a play on words using Scramble Circuit, cuz the team of Optimus Maximus is just a copy and paste of the Stunticons with Menasor and a circuit is another name given to a race track.
I think this might be the first of all the Combiner Wars teams (sans the Constructicons) that I actually like when they are fully combined. (and is the first I actually want to buy as a full set) I don't really know why, there was always something about the other ones that made them somewhat off putting to me, but Bruticus here just *works,* and whatever it is that makes him pull that off (be it his color scheme or silhouette) he does it very well.

I picked up the Unite Warriors version and...it's not bad. It's still got some issues here and there, like I DO agree that the Blast-Off brown should have been much darker like the US version and while the head on Bruticus is a nice silver color his faceplate is white? Kinda odd, BUT, I really like Swindle and Brawl with their color matched H/F/G's and the over all colors on Swindle, Brawl and Vortex are SO GOOD to my eye. I just wish they colored Blast Off better and maybe engineered his nosecone transformation better and Onslaught, well his hip ratchet problems are still present on the Takara release too. I DO still think the US version looks amazing though.

I hate that Bruticus is my fave combiner.

I love the transformation sequences in the beginning of each review.
Do you have any plans for computron? I personally like hasbros version due to the mold choice, colors, scrounge, and those amazing hands and feet.

I went with the UW Combaticons, it is very colourful and the space shuttle Blast Off is awesome.

Um, blurr And Bluestreak aren't the Figures required for these combos. For Ultra Prime it's Prowl and for Sky Lynx it's Smokescreen

I actually prefer Steamshield's Shuttle parts kit for CW Blast-Off, as it turns him into a chocolate version of the shuttles from Armageddon.
