As an Arsenal fan of 20+ years, I couldn't care less how we do it. I just want to win. But let's be clear, defending for 45 mins with 10 men to protect a lead away at the best team in the world, is not like Mourinho's Chelsea coming to fifth-place Arsenal and playing for a nil-nil with 11 men. Equating the two removes all context, which is also what the pundits giving Arsenal no credit have been doing.
Chelsea's defensive tactics, especially when fielding a full squad, often seemed lackluster and uninspiring. In contrast, Arsenal typically reserved their defensive approach for situations of numerical disadvantage or when facing exceptionally strong opponents. This comparison is like comparing apples and oranges, Rory. Arsenal's reputation for playing attractive football is well-established, and the occasional defensive strategy does not negate this. Cherry-picking exceptions and presenting them as the norm is a false equivalence
no I see where Rory’s coming from. although mourinho was known to be defensive he often won games 3-0 4-0 through well drilled attacking football. I remember 2015 Chelsea and this Arsenal team looks very similar.

Mikel with his personnel acquisitions and his own footballing philosophy, has created a team that can adapt and play any style of football. On this one Rory you are right. I was often frustrated by the lack of pragmatism from Wenger. Man U and Chelsea would come and play simple counter attack football over and over again knowing Wenger was stuck in his ways. They'd take 3 points regardless of their form.
@@hallas706 You thought you made sense…lol. The Chanel is NOT called Rory talks football. It’s called Rory Jennings. Also for a self proclaimed Chelsea fan, he talk anything but Chelsea.
I am an Arsenal fan who lived through that period and I have to admit in retrospect Mourinho had every right to set up his team as he saw fit. Also, Arsene, even though was a great coach when it came to creating a playing style and identity, he seemed to lack a plan B when he came up against an opponent that was tactically astute.
Mikel Arteta's Arsenal is nothing like Mourinho's Chelsea. People focus on the last five games where we had two red cards for 90+ minutes against great opposition and say we play defensively, but this could not be less true. Last season, Arsenal had, without a doubt, the greatest defense in the league-maybe the world-and yet had the most goals scored in the club's history. If you watch Arteta's press conference after the game, he says, "we could not play the way we wanted because we were down to 10 men" and "this league deserves exciting football." Arteta clearly is not one for just possession or defensively solid football; that's a byproduct of his great management. His explicit goal is to "dominate teams" and "make teams suffer," and that's why you saw the last six months of last season where we beat almost every team we faces by 5
I'm an Arsenal fan and the Invisible season was one of the 1st full seasons that I've followed. The immediate season to follow was José's peak and I feared Chelsea. I hated them at the time, but in the years to follow I realised we need that edge, whether in the era we had Fabregas and Van Persie or the 2016 season when we finished 2nd. We just needed that edge.
Great video, although I would disagree about Arsenal being only a defensive team. They can also be expansive at times and score quite a lot of goals. Arteta has built a very versatile team that can adapt to various styles of play depending on the opposition.
Chelsea won trophies and last time I checked football was about winning trophies no matter how you won them. A team that does not do everything they can possibly to win trophies cannot be considered as a football team that’s after success.
One thing that wasn't mentioned is that we played that ultra defensive still because we were 2-1 up away at the Etihad with 10!!!! We were a man down, playing our usual expansive style would've been suicidal in that situation. It would've been a very different game if trossard hadn't been (imo unjustly) sent off.
The first memory of me being a Arsenal Fan is the unjustice of losing a CL final to Barca. I've been raised by the Wenger purist era and lived through glamorous and splendid football represented. We've got nowhere near the pinnacle in the league at that time, yet during last two seasons it felt wrong even though we came second in the league. It's not rubbing the right way - it wasn't 'the Arsenal way' 4 me. This season hits different. Sending offs for a second yellow are ringing the bells of RvP sending off during cup tie with Barcelona (usual culprit). The situation back then was that we lost it - maybe with Arteta we would survive? Let's just say I'm beginning to believe - but I would love to have that Wenger identity preserved. PS. Been watching the Mancity game with my father - pop is talismanic when it comes to Guardiola (or at least I hoped so). Last I watched a game with him we won 2:1 with Barca at the emirates in 2011.:) This was a close one.
I think most Arsenal fans remember the George Graham era, when WE were "boring, boring Arsenal" and our most famous chant was "1-0 to the Arsenal". It's like newer/younger fans think Wenger-ball is how Arsenal have always played...
He's being disingenuous here anyway, we're neither one or the other now. The important point is Arteta can & will do both when necessary. We scored 91 goals in the league last year, the most Arsenal have ever scored in a league season, even more than the invincibles. This isn't a team who can only park the bus & play for 1-0 wins.
The mistake is people comparing Arteta to other managers. We can see he got his ideologies from the managers he's worked under, Wenger, David Moyes and Pep Guardiola but how he plays is revolutionary. His want to play every style of football, he wants dominance in every part of the pitch. He wants physical, technical, quick players. He's unique and I think the biggest mistake was people comparing him to Pep Guardiola because he's nothing like Pep
I agree and disagree with Rory. I'm a fan old enough to remember George Graham as Arsenal manager, and I think Mikel Arteta is closer to him in a lot of respects than Mourinho, but I can understand that Arteta would've studied someone like Mourinho too. The chant "Boring Boring Arsenal" was coined under Graham's tenure as Manager as was "One Nil to The Arsenal". People complained about the style of football then, but Arsenal still won the League twice under Graham and he almost did the Invincibles in 1991, losing only one game to Chelsea as it happens. Do I want to see beautiful free-flowing football? Yes I do. But I want to win. I want us to lift the trophies that we deserve to lift. Attack wins games but defence wins titles...simple.
Another comparison would be our successful era pre wenger under George Graham. I think Buvey needs to be educated on this era. Yes Rory you are Chelsea and will compare us to Mourinho’s Chelsea and I see comparisons. Our ‘dark arts’ and elbows only are in the front pages after the big games. We still have the free flowing football wenger would have wanted. 91 goals last season, our best ever. Arteta is a perfect blend of the lot. Great vid
As an Arsenal fan I really didn't enjoy the 'pretty football' days with no competitive edge vs Jose teams etc... and was why I was always a strong advocate for Wenger moving on a bit sooner than he did. (Respectfully) I wished we could adapt and not have to be so 'pure' in every single game after seeing the result as a loss every time in these games. Now to have a manager who can play some amazing attacking football (Season before last we were blowing teams out of the park first half of the season, and last season various 0-6, 0-5, 4-1 results after New Year) But who also has the adaptibility to do what needs to be done in games away at the Etihad vs a team that's dominated this league for years, it's a breath of fresh air. Competing against City is no easy task and something only Arsenal and Liverpool have recently done (and not much actual success for either) and I feel like every season we are starting to slowly grind them down and get closer, the reactions from the game last week shout this the loudest.
I just think that you have to embrace the dark arts while simultaneously knowing how to play the free flowing kind of football both are equally important neither attack nor defence is more important than the other sir alex ferguson once said "attack wins you games defence wins you titles" and i mean anyone expecting us to play open with 10 men against the best team in the league for the last 8 years is crazy
Ive been an Arsenal fan since the early 70's, this is just another evolution and I love it, Artetta has taken a bit of George Graham and a bit of Wenger and mixed it in with alot of himself to get a team that is now a contender for the title thats all that us fans want. The style of play is still enjoyable what you do off the ball is just as important and interesting as when you have it.
Those terms can describe Arteta, but he doesn’t typically start with those tactics. At City, we were forced into them. However, if we had reached the 65th or 70th minute at 2-1 with 11 men, he would have still shut up shop. I believe Arteta has more balance. To answer the question, I don’t care about being the “better club”; I want my team to win. Whether we blow a team out of the water 5-0 with expansive attacking football or win 1-0 with the most defensive display ever, using a 6-4-0 formation, it’s all about the 3 points. Back then, playing pretty football was all we had, so naturally, we didn’t like Jose’s defensive style. But now, I just want my team to win, no matter the cost. I love that Arteta has that fancy football in his locker, I also love he has a Jose style in his back pocket. I loved Wenger, and always will, but I hated his inability to adjust to certain opposition.
This is one of the best analysis' of the change Arteta has brought to Arsenal 👏 it's also so refreshing that its becoming popular to be able to praise other teams and other people despite where your loyalties lie. We need more of this!
I think the Key is the motto "Victory in Harmony" you can be harmonious in "beautiful" football which under Wenger is what I grew up on. I think for the first time Arsenal Fans are seeing the beauty and Harmony in solid defensive work and a grit to win!
Any Arsenal fan upset about a pragmatic approach forgets our own history. Yes, we had Wenger who pioneered much of modern football. But before him was George Graham, famous for winning at Anfield, 18 goals conceded in the 91 title ("1 nil, to The Arsenal") and the Cup Winners Cup, our only European success in the last 50 years ( it's not the Champions League, but it shouldn't be sneered at - silverware is silverware). That was all from a pragmatic approach, and a strong defense.
As an Arsenal supporter since 1989, I partly agree with your assessment. Wenger's tactics were most effective when he had robust, physical players like Petit, Vieira, and Campbell - similar to those favoured by Mourinho. Wenger's decline began with Fabregas's generation, as he underestimated the importance of strength and grit in his squad. Our current approach isn't purely Mourinho-esque. Instead, I see it as a blend of George Graham's and Wenger's styles. This hybrid strategy, combining elements from both managers, could lead us to our long-awaited Champions League victory.
Some of us older Arsenal fans remember that the platform Wenger built his play style on was Don Georgio Graham's defence. Without a solid back 4, goalkeeper and no6 it doesn't matter a fig what style you want to play, you'll not win the league if you are weak in 1 of those positions let alone 3, 4 or 5 as we ended up at the end of Arsene's reign.
I do love you Rory! But everyone needs to calm down, it’s all getting a bit much haha…Our hand has been forced slightly to adopt a more defensive style over the last run of fixtures which has also included going down to 10 men twice (a factor everyone seems to just ignore) but this doesn’t suddenly mean we’re anything like Chelsea or are set up to play “boring” football…. Last year we scored a record high goals in a season for the club, and when Ode is back I expect the goal tally to rocket again. Everyone just loves to waffle tho these days haha 🙃

Arsenal fan here. Arsenal in Wenger era after Viera was soft, naive and pushovers. They were bullied by teams like Utd, City, Stoke and even Wigan Athletic. Arteta's Arsenal is rugged, battle-hardened and united.Playing beautiful football doesn't necessary get you titles, being pragmatic does.
I’ve been a gooner for over twenty years and while I loved the beautiful goals we scored for me it’s always just been about winning. Do whatever you have to to win within the rules and not without a little bending of said rules. I also love rattling opposition managers and fans and City players, fans and manager included are well and truly rattled. And THAT is good for the Premier League. If it truly is the best league in the world it cannot be a one team league. City have had it far too their own way. It’s time to change that and that is not only on Arsenal but the other serious teams too. Thanks Rory loved the video!
Couple of points. I grew up watching George Graham football and we love good defending. Our stats v City would not be same if we had 11 players or were at home. Jose used to go 2 up and close the game even against weak teams
Hey Rory, I loved the analysis and comparison with Jose Morinho and what Chelsea were doing, it's a big compliment. I will say though, one thing that's always stumped me is this playing the arsenal way and free flowing football yet one of our favourite chants is one nil to the arsenal from the George Graham era when arsenal defended like machines. I have no issue with is doing the dirty work of it means winning a title as no football fan would for their team. Thanks for the content, you've unfortunately added another arsenal fan to your life 😆
We’ve had to adapt to going down to 10men in games and the loss of ødegaard. It shows just how vital ødegaard is to Arsenal’s attack that since he’s not played we’ve struggled attacking teams
We’re not though. We press a whole lot more. But it’s difficult when the man that your whole press is built around is injured and most of our attacking play goes through. So, we are learning and adapting. Maybe that idea came from us getting back into shape quickly when the opponent tries to transition. But that’s misconstrued as it is the result of good coaching and defending for the team.
I was one of those fans who thought (and perhaps still do) that there's a right way of winning and a wrong way of winning, but nearly 2 decades of poor results and winning only "the top 4 trophy" and the occasional FA cup I've come to realise that if you want success in the modern game need every percent available, at the peak of sport the small margins matter and Arsenal should embrace the "dark arts" if that's what it takes to win.
Rory is a football fan. He enjoys the beautiful game. His assessment of Arsenal is based on watching Arsenal games. He equally comments on Liverpool and other teams despite being a Chelsea fan. Rory is right in that Arsenal did not want to move away from their set way of playing fancy football. Arsenal are adapting their style to suit particular teams. We will play in whatever way we want even if it rubs others the wrong way. Arteta Pulis, Arteta Mourinho or whatever you want to call him, we love what we are seeing. Arsenal have the mentality to do whatever it takes to WIN!
I think the difference is that arteta only play defensively in some games, majority of games it’s high high press high possession % José was sitting back in 99% of games unless they were behind
I'm arsenal supporter and my favorite couch of all-time is Jose Mourinho, the reason why because he is a winner no matter the tactics, a d that's why I'm supporting arteta defensive tactics.
I'm a Wenger ball enjoyer Arsenal fan. I love seeing fast paced slick passing and attacking football. But there are times when it is not possible and that's when we have to pragmatic and show grit and have a plan B, C or a D. Mikel Arteta encapsulates all of these factors. I love Wenger, but every Arsenal fan will agree that it was frustrating to see us play in only one way and rarely had a plan B. Even the purist fans agree, getting a result and winning is more important than anything. If you can't win a game, don't lose. That's Arteta's philosophy. And try whatever is necessary to win. Hell we have dog called Win. The culture around the club has changed. It's no longer just about playing champaign football. This was also Arsenal Pre-Wenger days btw. George Graham's Arsenal were boring boring Arsenal, winning games 1-0, not conceding goals and so on.
As an arsenal fan, i always admired jose mourinho for his pragmatism, if you can't better your opponent in slick one 2 passing football style, do something to upset their rythm, i am an avid football fan,i ve watched football as a kid & i knew that what matters, the only yhing that matters in football is winning, in league football, always get a favourable result. So mourinho was always rught in my eye, winning was the only that mattered, i never hid that fact, this is also why i love simeone of athletico madrid.
its being completely overlooked the obvious circumstances that led to arsenal playing the way they did. people are talking like arsenal play that way every week. its totally absurd. arsenal played the way that the game demanded. its so impressive that they can be basically whatever sort of team they need to be.
As an Arsenal fan who spent the twilight impotent Arsene years looking enviously at Chelsea, I'm enjoying every moment of this transformation that Arteta has wrought.
What Arteta is doing is great. One team doesn’t need to only have one style of play. The way Arteta has built Arsenal to change the way they play situationally is great and makes it harder to play against Arsenal. Whether they are playing attacking free flowing football which they usually do especially against weaker opposition or they play solid defensive counter attacking football when the situation calls for it. It’s great. It makes it harder for teams to prepare to play Arsenal because Arsenal can play 1 way in first half and completely change in 2nd half. This pragmatic style of play is helping Arsenal win which makes it good.
Just because our fixtures list for the start of the season was tough and we had to deal with a couple dodgy ref decisions doesn’t mean we’ve changed as a team. For the last 2 seasons we’ve showed we play the best football in the league and, believe me, it’ll be shown again this season that we still play the Arsenal way.
I'm surprised you didn't bring up Ferguson, who notoriously would change his style when it came to playing against arsenal. Because it's still 9 times out of 10 that we play front foot. We've just had to result to this style a few times recently based on injuries, absences or game states
look I know it’s tough to conceive of a club of this size using their financial weight with such good return but it *is* possible. since the “beginning” in 04 Chelsea has been built on a kind of success that was never gonna remain viable once the competition adapted.
I don't get ut, was Arsenal supposed to outplay City who haven't lost in 18+ months in their back yard while down ti 10 men? How does this make sense? How i s Arsenal anti football? City have been the kings of technical fowls and that's not anti football? Arsenal is still all for free flowing football but so are Madrid who parked the bus to win their UCL semi final agaunst City last season
We can play both ways. That’s the point. When we played attacking expansive football before, we had a soft underbelly. Not anymore. When we have been solid defensively (a while ago admittedly), we didn’t have the attacking ability. Now we have a manager that can do both. That’s why we aren’t a ‘defensive’ side. I like you Rory, but the way you’re trying to write this narrative is sour 😂😂 People just don’t like that we can do both. So they try to paint us as a defensive side lol. Do people realise we were winning away from home 4-0,5-0,6-0 just a few months ago?
Arteta have said it clear since the time he arrived at the club, he wants the team to be flexible according to the situation. Meaning he can go for all attacking to ultra defensive mode in order to get results. The last tactic which to be unlocked is to win 12 vs 10 because he will expecting that for 56 remaining games of the season😂
our tradition was defensive pre-Wenger. Early Wenger the defense was amazing. it was the later years of Wenger. I am still scratching my head on those wasted years from 2006 onwards. If only he had put a little effort and money into the defence. What happened. Arsenal fans reaction on those years. ..put a brave face on it.
I dont disagree with part of what you say and it is nice to get an unbiased approach to the league, but I would also say that we have adapted given our latest fixtures and injuries. Don't forget that we scored a record number of goals last season and look how we played against Villa. I am only saying let's just see how it ends versus how it has begun. But if we win it all who cares how we play.
Ey Rory he's not changed the identity he's just made it more defensive and still free flowing like always. You lot just don't wanna admit Arteta's Arsenal is unpredictable, you never know what style they'll play which is great for the team in the long run.
I think context is important. Mourniho would get a lead and then park the bus. We parked the bus being down one man. I don’t think it’s the same play style as Mourniho’s Chelsea
I think people are dragging It, arsenal are still creative we just missing odegard and we were down 10 men for two games ofcourse we gonna defend 😂 our defense in mid 2000 wasn’t as elite as It is now Arsenal was never known to have a amazing defense. love the channel ❤🙌🏻
Arteta's Arsenal embodies the Arsenal way of playing both Arsenal past and present. Not in any way comparable to Mourinho's style just because we parked the bus for 45 minutes. Why does everyone forget that it was a game where Arsenal were trying to protect a one goal lead with ten men against the best team. Arteta's Arsenal went to City to win and not to draw.
Rory every season, this is what you’re good at.Arsenal are now mental monsters, arsenal are this, arsenal are that but at the end they have nothing to show for.Don’t always come and sit here say they are tittle monsters mentality meanwhile this is not the right way to do it over 38 premier games.Football has grown past the level of playing dark art, where players can easily be sent off like what happened to arsenal, because playing like this can get u a result at times but it’s not going to win you league over 38 matches
Mate we was 4th place merchants for years and missed out on ucl for a few years after that. I'm just happy that Arsenal are back as contenders. In an ideal world, United and Chelsea would be too IMO. The same winners 7 times out of 8, with 5 in a row isn't the premier league.
IF city win this league and next year, it would come close to a decade of total dominance and that makes the prem the ligue 1 but with more money involved.
I feel like it’s a stretch just basing it off city game. Under those circumstances, they had no option but to park the bus. I can’t remember the last time Arsenal played like that with 11
But very conveniently forgot to mention that Arsenal's expansive passing football is based around Odegaard. And since, he is missing right now, this is the best suitable way of play considering the opposition. Arsenal have a way of play and a method of play and we will stick to it. Arsenal right now are a victim of circumstance considering the injuries and frequency of matchdays and this 'Mourhino' style of play is only temporary.
I grew up in the early 2000s. Started supporting Arsenal from 03-04. All through the 2010s we heard Arsenal aren't mean enough, soft underbelly, not up for a fight, can be bullied etc etc. Now the media has a problem since the roles are reversed? Make that make sense.

It's not one or the other Rory, Mikel has gone beyond a single style of football.
They are neither Mourinho nor Guardiola in playing style. Mikel with his personnel acquisitions and his own footballing philosophy, has created a team that can adapt and play any style of football. And they and Arteta adapted against Spurs and City, as the game states change, as personnel availability changes.
Mikel is always talking about adaptability, and this is what he has created..........Arsenal are neither one nor the other, they are all of the different styles rolled into one......

The second half when Arsenal were defending I thought of Mourniho and his parking of the bus he would be proud watching this.
Specifically with inter against Pep's Barcelona. The parallel was crazy
The criticism Arteta took for that in the RUclips media sphere was ridiculous. What manager would decide to attack City a man down with a goal advantage?
Mourinho wouldn't be proud, his team wouldn't conceded that late goal.
The difference is Mourinho didn’t play with 10 men every week… how can an ultra adaptive decision to defend with your life against your biggest rivals with a man down be scrutinised as “dark arts”

On this one Rory you are right. I was often frustrated by the lack of pragmatism from Wenger. Man U and Chelsea would come and play simple counter attack football over and over again knowing Wenger was stuck in his ways. They'd take 3 points regardless of their form.

@@RutlessMan1 damn you're right. Cheers mate!
Great video, although I would disagree about Arsenal being only a defensive team. They can also be expansive at times and score quite a lot of goals. Arteta has built a very versatile team that can adapt to various styles of play depending on the opposition.
Except Arsenal played defensively with 10 men, Jose's Chelsea used to play defensively with 11 men.
You said everything that needs to be said. One match and he’s changing the identity of Arsenal 😂
And won tittles
Chelsea won trophies and last time I checked football was about winning trophies no matter how you won them. A team that does not do everything they can possibly to win trophies cannot be considered as a football team that’s after success.
Jose won things artera is glad to get second
Jose was one of the top 3 scoring teams each season
One thing that wasn't mentioned is that we played that ultra defensive still because we were 2-1 up away at the Etihad with 10!!!! We were a man down, playing our usual expansive style would've been suicidal in that situation. It would've been a very different game if trossard hadn't been (imo unjustly) sent off.
City were about to get spanked
Check out Untold Arsenal ..
@@Amberle38 Very true...
Sooooooo you gonna do a video on Chelsea’s emphatic win today?
Oh here comes another arsenal video 😂
Arsenal had George Graham AKA mister "1 nil to the Arsenal" before Wenger, Arteta has found a perfect balance of both.
Thats right dont even comment or broadcast anything about my team Chelsea you muppet #ComeOnYouBlues 💙
The crazy thing is , when Chelsea wins, he does not cover it. How are you a fan. Can’t even hide his hate for the fact that Chelsea is winning. 💙💙💙💙
Where's the Chelsea video Rory?
Arteta is combining George Graham and Wengers team into one
Never call yourself a Chelsea fan
Why not?
He's a Chelsea fan.
Joke of a youtuber. Our best player hit 4 goals and he wants to talk about arsenal lol. Disgrace

Thanks Rory loved the video!
rory has more passion for a man city goal than he does a chelsea goal
Great essay. Been watching you for a few years, but just subscribed. More of these on different clubs, sir Jennings
Thanks for the content, you've unfortunately added another arsenal fan to your life 😆
Bro makes more arsenal videos than his "own club"
I think the difference is that arteta only play defensively in some games, majority of games it’s high high press high possession %
José was sitting back in 99% of games unless they were behind
the best video you have made since i started following you 2 years ago, its just full of facts that we have to swallow
Im a Arsenal fan from the late 80s one Nil to the Arsenal so I'm loving this mentally but we must win the league now and champions league
That is true. Arteta changed Arsenal 100%.
Thank you about sharing this video. I love Arsenal.❤✊
Only here for the comments 😂😂
I'm surprised you didn't bring up Ferguson, who notoriously would change his style when it came to playing against arsenal. Because it's still 9 times out of 10 that we play front foot. We've just had to result to this style a few times recently based on injuries, absences or game states
What a dazzlingly sensational video Rory. Thanks for blessing our RUclips feed
Rory doesn't have a case on this topic...Last 2 seasons Arsenal were blowing teams home and aways with pretty football😅😅😢...So stop
Are you not going to post about Chelsea's win against Brighton? Have been a fan since the kickoff. I'm beginning to think you are a fake
look I know it’s tough to conceive of a club of this size using their financial weight with such good return but it *is* possible.
since the “beginning” in 04 Chelsea has been built on a kind of success that was never gonna remain viable once the competition adapted.
I like you Rory, but the way you’re trying to write this narrative is sour 😂😂
People just don’t like that we can do both. So they try to paint us as a defensive side lol.
Do people realise we were winning away from home 4-0,5-0,6-0 just a few months ago?
You should become an arsenal fan.
It’s stupid how y’all compare arteta to mourniho after he played like him for ONE SINGLE GAME.💀
Ewwwww "yall"🤢
Stick to baseball ffs
I think context is important. Mourniho would get a lead and then park the bus. We parked the bus being down one man. I don’t think it’s the same play style as Mourniho’s Chelsea
post about Chelsea bro we just won😂
I can’t remember the last time Arsenal played like that with 11
Arsenal can play in all styles depending on the game requirements. So Arsenal have now evolved to enjoy both styles. I love it
soon we will see him on AFTV with the XXXL Samuel Jackson
The beast incarnate Xxl JaXXson
But very conveniently forgot to mention that Arsenal's expansive passing football is based around Odegaard. And since, he is missing right now, this is the best suitable way of play considering the opposition.
Arsenal have a way of play and a method of play and we will stick to it. Arsenal right now are a victim of circumstance considering the injuries and frequency of matchdays and this 'Mourhino' style of play is only temporary.
I’ll always respect Rory for putting his pride to the side to give credit to Arsenal especially when it’s due, even if it is clicks
I grew up in the early 2000s. Started supporting Arsenal from 03-04. All through the 2010s we heard Arsenal aren't mean enough, soft underbelly, not up for a fight, can be bullied etc etc. Now the media has a problem since the roles are reversed? Make that make sense.
If you have seen how much money these u tubers make talking about Arsenal you would understand why they all love Arsenal even Terry flewers😂
8:52 Yea you're right. As a defender, living through the late 1990s and then from 2000s to this, no one cares.
