in fairness mate they probably watch forest 4/5 games a year max they won’t know. It’s one of those where lower prem clubs want more talk about them in the media but when they’re talked about it’s often wrong because unless they’re a forest fan they won’t consistently watch them play so they’ll base their opinions on all the players off a couple games
people saying “selling palmer was good cus he wouldn’t of played” kdb is getting older and getting injured more and more so palmer would be backup to foden in the 10 and another option out wide so of course he’d play. If kdb never got injured it would be fine but so would liverpool if jota and konate never got injured but they do so they need backups

Dont know why but every time ive watched him play either england or some short period of everton game he makes some ridicilous mistake like kicking ball straight to the opponent leading to goal, giving random misspass tryin for once play the ball or just letting in weak goal. Secondly hes too small to have any presence in his box in corner situations, looks like mickey mouse screaming

Arsenal fan here, saka is the answer. He is our system, he runs that whole team. Carries our attack no matter his form and when everyone else is on low form saka is there. Our best player 100% and the face of the team and arguably the face of the premier league.

Odegaard. Saka and Saliba and Rice are in the discussion but Odegaard is literally central to everything. We're a different team when he's not playing, or not playing well. Saka, as good as he is, is a winger; wingers are peripheral. Saliba, as good as he is, is a centre half and we have NUMEROUS centre-halves. Rice can be switched with Georginho or Merino or even Partey. Who replaces Odegaard, who opens up other teams? Partey? That's a bigger loss than Saliba being replaced by White/Calafiori/Timber/Kiwior/Tomiasu. That's a bigger loss than Saka being replaced by Sterling or Trossard.
Mavididi is not playing as a 10, he’s also getting benched for Jordan Ayew…

What/How do you classify as the best player at your club? Form based, bigger name or someone who when the chips are down he shows up. For instance City a couple years ago, Haaland, KDB and Gundogan.

Best player and most important are 2 different things, like diaz is arguably liverpools best player right now but salah, mac allister, trent, van dijk and alisson are all more important because the backup is stronger. If van dijk goes down the backup is quansah who’s not bad but not great, if diaz gets injured u bring in gakpo who’s ceiling is world class
Unpopular opinion but Alisson is the best player at Liverpool for me. Salah goes missing at times and can be a bit too selfish when things aren't going his way in a match. I can't remember the last time Alisson had a poor moment let alone entire game for the club. He always gives an 8/10 performance at worst and has saved Liverpool's bacon countless times over the past few seasons.
