Yeah, I know what you mean, he can’t be a United fan, he would know how to pronounce his name, instead he pronounces it like an American would, and he sounded English.
A stadium is defined by the history, the team and the fans, not so much the original site. There's loads of room outside and near Manchester to build a monster. Just build easy transport links. Liverpool went down the route of staying at Anfield. Two stunning stands were built but further development is impossible. Everton went down the other route. The new Wembley should have been a 120,000 monster built on waste ground just off the M1 in the centre of the country for easy access from all parts. It's the name not the area for clubs this size.
There's nothing wrong with the Old Trafford stadium that a bit if TLC won't cure. All it needs is the Upgrade of the Sir Bobby Charlton Stand & East & West quadrant to complete the original design & a Levelled Retractable New Roof + modern refurbishment of the rest of the stadium to warrant at least 90K capacity Take Note: The stadium expansion MUST NOT exceed the rail track Let's complete the Old Trafford Stadium, we feel with 1bn budget in 18 month to 2 years copying Real Madrid project approach with the right people it can be achieved in line with progress on the pitch cos we deserve more! Keep it in the family! Worth a view, please share!
Man Utd's Old Trafford Stadium that a bit of TLC won't cure. All it needs is the Upgrade of the Sir Bobby Charlton's Stand with a 2nd tier to complete the original design & the removal of the 3rd tier of the Sir Alex Ferguson's Stand & replaced by TV Screens for all 4 corners. We also want a Levelled Retractable New Roof + modern refurbishment of the rest of the stadium to warrant a 90K capacity in comfort. SBCS 25K + SAFS 25K + SES 20K + ES 20K = 90K. Take Note: The Stadium Expansion should Not Exceed the rail track. Old Trafford Stadium known as 'The Theatre of Dreams' unique in style is the Super Bowl of stadiums & is potentially The best Stadium in the country, possibly the world. Imagine saying some of the legends and not mentioning Sir Bobby Charlton 🤦🏻♂️ Also saying City have made important improvements to their stadium is a joke in itself, because City don't even own that stadium 😂😂
Is their stadium still property of the city of Manchester?* They definitely made improvements! They were already done before the sheikhs bought the club. The stadium was initially built for the Commonwealth Games of 2002. So the stadium had a running track, for the athletics competitions. They were built back and exchanged for another seating tier/stands. I would call this an improvement. Check out the before and after pictures! The situation is similar to that of PSG or RB Leipzig. They bought clubs but without building a new stadium. So they rent it from the city and safe the naming rights. Red Bull gave up their plans to build a new 75,000 seater stadium on the outskirts of Leipzig. The current stadium is right in the city and bad to reach by car. There's also no space to build an "RB theme park". But yeah, the former plans for a new stadium were dropped. I think it's, like I said, the same situation at PSG. They were promised a new state-of-the-art stadium. But everything they do is to renovate/give a newer look to the Parc des Princes as much as possible. Inter and AC Milan are talking about building a new, or two stadiums for years and years. Italy definitely needs to host the EUROS or a World Cup asap! Their stadiums, except for Juve, are rotting away. I'd love to see a 100,000 seater stadium for United. But I think this will take another decade to be finalized. For how long is Chelsea planning to leave the Stamford Bridge now? While it was mentioned a couple times, none of the proposed future stadiums/renovations of Old Trafford had something similar to the "Yellow wall" in Dortmund or the Southern stand (it's the South stand at Dortmund too) at Tottenham. Well, let's see what the future brings... *Indeed! I just checked it out on Wikipedia.
No it couldn’t because you can’t build on it to Old Trafford when the railway is refusing to shut down the railway that’s why it was all banged on and we were gonna rebuild all Trafford all fix all traffic up they will go on the half to get the railway to say yes and shut down the railway track whilst they built on the railway said nope not gonna happen but I said this a long time ago as well. Plus, with a new belt, the whole stadium would be disabled accessibility all over whilst they can’t do that at Old Trafford so old Trafford has had its time it’s time for a new stadium was the correct decision. Like disabled supporters can’t do the full museum and stadium tour, but yet they still have to pay for a price discount they get through the Membership.
Not at all. The infrastructure is 110 years old and would have to be completely rebuilt to modernise it. May as well build a whole new stadium, which in turn leaves Old Trafford to continue to stage football games, otherwise the team would have to relocate for at least two years, and who could accommodate all those season ticket holders?
The best thing is, if Man City gets fined guilty they could end up paying for Man United‘s new stadium all good chunk of it. Sense teams like Man United, Liverpool Arsenal I’ll have failed compensation claims of city of fine guilty as of yesterday .
They won’t get a guilty verdict cos like all the trophies they’ve bought recently, they’ll pay off those looking in to their cheating, they don’t even own their own stadium, it’s nothing more than a half empty council owned flat
Saw a recent video from a top united content provider where it is showing ticket take up is struggling... season ticket holders being as such threatened re attendance! So is the manager, team performance or similar... its lowly league position the problem.. Add in the constant rise of performance of other teams and fans and more particular new fans trend to support winning teams... then this drop off is no surprise! Will be interesting to see how this progresses as I think fan swings happen faster than some broadcast!
The Glazers have given the go ahead for a refurbishment of old Trafford rather than building a new stadium. B&Q are delivering the MDF, breeze blocks and chicken wire tomorrow.
If they leave it much longer it's a huge possibility of fans risking injury and then the ground will be off limits stripping the club of their entrance fee they need to spend
Players come and go, they need to sort out where they will actuall be playing, sod the flesh and blood players, they have plenty of youth to pick from if they want, who cares, they could even get relegated for a year or 2 if they can't afford players, they will win a couple of titles that they wouldn't win otherwise, people will still watch Manchester United, they could come back up a brand spanking new United and make a solid push to become Englands top dogs once again, it would look amazing in the history books.
As a regular visitor to OT I can, having experienced other stadiums, such as the friends arena in Stockholm, I can say that revamping OT to a modern standard would cost too much and we may as well start fresh and look at other revenue paths
Apparently you rnt aware that Old Trafford has been dominating the best pitch award since forever. Literally one of the best football pitches on the planet lol. Get the facts right before trying to attract audiences.
Moving Sir Alex off the pay roll is exactly the same reason they want a new stadium. At some point you have to move on. Else we'd still be planting money in Matt Busby's grave
At present The Old Trafford Stadium is still incomplete & needs is an upgrade of the SBC stand & East & West quadrant to be completed first before you can sort out the roof. building a 2 billion stadium for matches played by 1B team which performs like a Championship team? I makes sense to lift your game, lift tremendously first.
Why are all our big football clubs like Manchester United foreign owned? Why can’t we own our own football clubs. 🇬🇧 That’s funny when the narrator is talking about Manchester United but it shows footage from London’s Leicester Square: 5:06 😂
Clearly a non-man u supporter or a bot speaking. A real Man Utd would be able to pronounce CANTONA !! Jumping on the bandwagon of the biggest Club in the world.
I’d put a tenner on the fact that this fella never got a pair of football boots for his Christmas or Birthdays! Haha I’m picturing a metal detector or a microscope haha
For a start there isn't room to expand it that's one of the problems with it currently. And two, as gutted as I would be to say goodbye. You can't stay in the past for too long because of Sentiment. Arsenal moved on from Highbury, England from Wembley. United are the people not the place
Things get old, things rust, buildings/structures are not going to last forever, history is what it is, people need to move on eventually, maybe they should take better care of the new stadium.....
Stopped watching after Cantona was pronounced Can-toner

This is the 3rd video I have seen on the stadium that has done this they are obviously all getting there information from the same place.
Yeah,it's cantone arhh

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Why renovate a crumbling shell. Need brand new, old trafford is falling to bits.
Hello If UTD did build new Ground would they keep the names of the stands as like sir bobby Chalton stand & Sir Alex Stand
Beautifull stadium. Pura vida
I would hate to see this cathedral torn down. They can definitely modernize it. This is coming from a Liverpool supporter.

Should spend some money in removing the deadwood too.
Old Trafford could have been maintained but unfortunately the glazers stripped it bare.

2.6B for a stadium sounds a bit excessive tbh.
They want to develop the whole area around the stadium, too.
A stadium so old, leaky and broken that it gets more supporters than any other team in the U.K. 😂😂
The Glazers have given the go ahead for a refurbishment of old Trafford rather than building a new stadium. B&Q are delivering the MDF, breeze blocks and chicken wire tomorrow.
Even that puts it leagues above your teams dump!
No funding that’s why ticket prices have gone up
Man united don't need new stadium 🏟️ they need Good quality players 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 i love you my beautiful Liverpool fc Gooooooooooooredsss❤❤❤❤❤
🔴🔴🔴⚪️⚪️⚫️ GGMU ⚫️⚪️⚪️🔴🔴🔴
What ever the budget is always add at least 50% to it
Why did he say Caontona like that? 😂
Far better to concentrate on getting a world class team first instead of the second rate tossers they have now
If they leave it much longer it's a huge possibility of fans risking injury and then the ground will be off limits stripping the club of their entrance fee they need to spend

2.6 B sounds a bit excessive
i would love old trafford to be renovated and not knocked down. but what us fans want is always irrelevant
A bigger Stadium would make new money for United we could call it New Trafford.
Manchester United did a survey of all of their members and found that the majority are open to a new stadium...
As a regular visitor to OT I can, having experienced other stadiums, such as the friends arena in Stockholm, I can say that revamping OT to a modern standard would cost too much and we may as well start fresh and look at other revenue paths
Oooh AaaaH Cantoner doesn't have quite the same ring
Can not see the glazers and radcliffe coughing up the money.
Eric who 😂😂😂😂😂
ERIC
CANTONER
1:39.. Cantoner? A can of toner?
If manchester united had that stadium it would be the largest stadium in the world
No it wouldn't, the biggest is in North Korea.
Apparently you rnt aware that Old Trafford has been dominating the best pitch award since forever. Literally one of the best football pitches on the planet lol. Get the facts right before trying to attract audiences.
Can't afford to pay a legend like sir Alex, how can they afford new stadium
Moving Sir Alex off the pay roll is exactly the same reason they want a new stadium. At some point you have to move on. Else we'd still be planting money in Matt Busby's grave
Guess who lead to the sale to the vulture capitalist Glazer's.
Over a Racehorse.
Time to move out of the Shadow of Fergie and the past.
By not wasting money paying people for things like ambassadorial services
A fully retractable roof is gonna be a must in England
Why???? England gets two good days a year
But Utd are back to their mid-table, compete for nothing without an era-defining manager, usual selves...
It should have a closed roof
The current ground should be closed, you mean 😂😂
At present The Old Trafford Stadium is still incomplete & needs is an upgrade of the SBC stand & East & West quadrant to be completed first before you can sort out the roof.
This Stadium has a lot of potential & can be one of the best stadium in Europe if not the world with the original design cos it has character & authentic with the potential capacity of at least 90K, all it needs is an refurbished & some TLC.

Eric Cantoana? WTF is that hahahahahahaha
Pie in the sky! £2 billion to build another Stadium that looks like a Hospital Bed-Pan 😂😂! Utd will stay at OT & massively renovate it.
😂😂
building a 2 billion stadium for matches played by 1B team which performs like a Championship team? I makes sense to lift your game, lift tremendously first.
It's far to small they need to build a 100.000 plus stadium they are locking out fortunes in revenue.
Bet they don't, isn't feesable
Watch and weep pal, it's coming
Great stadium for the championship 😂
And you would know seeing your band of donkeys failing there repeatedly.
grow up
Can-tona 😂
Shame it`ll be used for championship football !
Aww well done dobby for proving you're a failure at trolling and in life. Then again. Nothing new there is there!

Who is Eric Cantoner?!!!!!! Fail.
Nope, I stopped watching at Erik Can-toner
you just kept repeating yourself by saying the same thing in 10 different ways
Revealed nothing.
Is this for real or bs clickbait?
I like how we can always justify a new stadium. But not a new road, extra lanes or a stop light.
Lay off the crack fent and meth you're clearly overdosing!!!!!

13 mins of zero new information, terrible AI voice and just basically a bad and bland video
It’s never been released what the new stadium would like if the go ahead is confirmed so get your information correct before making this rubbish
that not gonna happen
AI echochamber shite
This is just a bit gash.
A new stadium with no character because they’ve neglected old Trafford and not cared about the club
Things get old, things rust, buildings/structures are not going to last forever, history is what it is, people need to move on eventually, maybe they should take better care of the new stadium.....
Codswallop 😂
