He stating what a lot of people think. Dyche has done creditable with poor quality of the players. Ian sets the Dyche bashing tone even though he tries hard to disguise it.
No body from the echo bash dyche that’s a ridiculous comment, they’re shit scared to criticise anybody associated with the club have down for years. They are still in kenwright’s pocket and have to toe the party line
re: the effectiveness of "hiring and firing"--you can't really paint with a broad brush simply because it depends on who is doing the hiring and firing. the reason firing managers often "doesn't work" is because the same people firing them are (usually) the same people who appointed them to begin with, i.e. they have a track record of not identifying the right manager. when we look at what's going on at roma, it's a bit of a concern as to whether or not the friedkins are capable of identifying the right manager. hopefully they appoint a competent DoF and leave those decisions to said DoF. NB: i'm not saying we need to replace thelwell either, i think he's done a decent job in difficult circumstances. i'm less sympathetic towards dyche, i think in previous seasons he's been better, but this season he's been subpar.
Connor going on about he’s done a good job, and brings up the wolves win and it won’t matter if we get beat at Arsenal because we beat wolves, yet we’ve won 3 in 14 from an easy star, but he’s done a good job. The ambition from the echo boys is on the floor, still in kenwright’s pocket by the looks of it
Did a decent job to keep Us up on the last day, Lampard kept us up the year before and he’s considered a Poor manager. Last season 35 points kept us up and 100’s of managers would have managed that with the squad we had, yes he did well to get to 48 points, but in the last 12 months He’s won 8 in 36, Liverpool is the only good side we’ve beaten. The football is atrocious, he has one plan only his in game management is shocking, there’s no long term plan or project, he’s not interested in trying to bring young players through. He’s a very poor mananger who’s very lucky to be at Everton and he’s getting paid 5 mil for the privilege
@Stephen-zq7qh You're entitled to your opinion. Many will disagree with your thoughts while not liking the football. The squad is quite frankly substandard for the Premier with little room for anything but pragmatism. Look at what's available on the bench each week. I don't know, and you definitely don't know what he could do with better players. I doubt we could attract a manager other than a desperate one at the moment. Let alone any decent players even if we did have money. In my opinion, the multitude sitters missed by our players has cost us games. Im hoping Broji might change that. If he does, I expect us to finish comfortably mid table, unless, of course, we somehow get hit with more points deductions..
The minority will disagree with me, go and watch any fan Chanel or podcast or go on a forum or social media and at least 80% want him out. And it’s utter nonsense to say we don’t know What he’d do with a better players he sets up to draw games looks at the Brentford game v 10 men. And we could definitely attract better. We’ve got new owners coming in going to a new stadium, We’re quite an attractive proposition imo. And saying we’ve missed chances, Yes in one or two games, but are stats are shocking we’re the worst team in the league for creating chances, shots and bottom of the league for XG a stat that dyche kept bringing up in press conferences last season, Funny he’s not mentioning this season. There’re at least 5 worst squads than ours
@Stephen-zq7qh I think you're making a big assumption that you are right based on podcasts. If you look at the number of subscribers very few people bother with podcasts. And most rational thinkers will assess things in a much more pragmatic way. Like most things today the vocal minority think everyone agrees with them. I do think the there are two camps that are polarised, but to think everyone believes Dyche is doing a bad job is a big assumption. Perhaps considering others views before dismissing them is a healthy environment. I understand your view I just see it different and I believe Dyche will see us through this difficult patch. Is he the right Manager to take us forward, that's a different discussion entirely.

Dyche hasn't done a good job, his job should be to win matches, not make sure we finish above the bottom 3.
I dream of 30 points by Christmas. I'm old enough to remember Everton teams capable of doing that - season in and out.
You wouldn't think this was a Blue podcast, lads defending Dyche. He has to go, Wolves result makes no difference.
Exactly. 2nd win at home this season isn't a reason to give him more time
8 wins in 12 months and you think thats a good job
With this squad yes.
This guys lower than low standards for Everton FC is one of the reasons we are where we are. To defend Dyche is absolutely ridiculous
That's your opinion.
Dyche out!!
Hi lads… Arsenal would have played 3 to our one game.. thats not a bad thing, hopefully we are fit and ready
Don't think he's the future, but give some credit as he has also fronted the whole lot too
8 wins in 12 months and you think thats good
Pickford; Patterson, Tarkowski, Branthwaite, Young; Lindstrom, Gana, Mangala, Mcneil, Ndiaye, Broja. Subs: Virginia, Coleman, O'Brien, Armstrong, Harrison, DCL, Doucoure
Too many ads fellas sorry
What has dyche got on this connor lad

He has done a good job in the circumstances. With points deductions and lack of players in squad. Change no guarantees relegation.

"Massive wobble" when he was playing keane, like every torpedoing towards relegation wobble over the past 4 years. Corrected 👍🏻
Well said about Dyche over the last 2yrs... Horses for courses and done a good job in very challenging situations
