That’s a idea I’ve asked about before, just even getting Peter to tell us some of the history about the farm, I think you might be surprised on how many people would find that fascinating. Cheers lads.
Great job Matt with the wiring not leaving wires laying about where they can be stepped on and pulled out. It’s hard enough keeping wiring from chaffing and shorting out looks like you did a professional job.
I do that on our yacht and you would be amazed at some of the dodgy wiring I end up having to fix (often at sea) that was installed by so-called professionals. This spring I hopped on to find that the gas detection wouldn't turn on the solenoid (stove) and after going through it there was a connection, in the gas locker which drains overboard and often exposed to salt water just crimped together and wrapped in electrical tape. Add to that it was unsupported, just hanging freely but the Boss paid good money to have the unit upgraded as it is such an important safety device. Matt does a neat job, lose wiring can let you down at the worst time, esp. in a tractor chasing the weather late at night.
Well, as much as I enjoy these videos Matt, I do think a 'sit down and chat' with your Dad and Uncles on video would be a really good idea, and certainly entertaining. ( not too much editing now mind you :)
Hi Matt, might be worth labelling the fuse. A couple of years of service without any issues, no one remembers anything when it plays up, ……. It helps a lot
Hi folks a Pod cast would be great I would like to hear some stories of the old days in farming ,I bet there would be some drinking involved .Go and do it cheers 🙏❤️💪👍🦘🇦🇺😎
Hell Yeah Brother! Do it for Dale! LOL Did you have the same tips, with the same amount of wear, on the pressure washers? Or, swap the tips and see if the same one still has more force. As another person mentioned, it is a combo of pressure and volume. I used to do pressure washing professionally and worked a number of times at LA Staples Center and Dodger Stadium doing all the concession/kitchen areas. Our units were 3500 psi at 5.5 gpm and set to 200 degrees F, along with dual nozzle lances with a handle so the pressure could be reduced as needed for detailed work. I don't blame you for not running the original pumps if the price difference is huge and the aftermarket pump works for you. My boss/friend always rebuilt his own pumps, but they also were run off large water tanks mounted on the trucks or trailers so the pump would not overheat when in bypass. I'm assuming that rebuilding the brand name pumps wasn't an option for you guys. That is really cool that you have 3 generations of brothers.
My old mate of mine was in to his water blasters from small to truck mount over the years ,most water blasters run at about 3000 psi. But what counts is the amount of water per minute at this pressure the more water per minute the more efficient, hope this is helpful
Hi Matt, don’t point the camera to the outside of the shed when your inside, what your showing us just goes dark if you do. 😁 Still enjoying your videos 👍
Tidy job that Matt bet your pleased you’ve got it up and working. Will there be enough cooling around the new control panel and old electronic panel ?? Yes understand cab as air conditioning
My apprentice master used say its not because he was a hard man it's because its part of the job for apprentice to clean up at the end of the day and tomorrow will be a fresh start ❤😂🎉😢😮😅
Very interesting video and great job with the electrical work and hydraulic! The only question is why it took so long to overhaul the engine back to new for tractor??
Adding an auger to a draper head.... never heard of that ! We run 40' drapers in soybeans ( Iowa, USA ) and is flax slik enough the rubber drapper doesn't move it properly or is the volume of crop the problem? Also would think that auger spins quite fast to stay ahead of the belt?
Hi! The main use for it is for canola as it’s a bulky tall crop, the auger runs at the same speed as the Draper to just help keep it all moving, there is a bit of footage in Vlog 111 at about 3:34 where the canola starts to ball up on the one without the auger👍😁

Bloody beautiful video matt. Everything s happening. The family views are all honest. Gotta love it.
Ive been making brackets most of my life - that mounting you made for the additional electrical box is ingenious!
Just so long as the MAGIC SMOKE stayed in the box all is good.
Because you can’t get the smoke back in.

Another comment I'd love to hear those stories!
Just getting to sleep and someone loaded a video lol!!! Great to see the engine back. Brad probably has it running by now.
Always good to see Peter and Rusty. Good ego boost for the Grandkid to unload the very expensive and needed engine.

Very impressed with the installation of your hydraulics and electrics Matt, nice tidy job. 👍
Good job on the auger Matt and it was good to see Peter showing up for and making us think he is still busy as ever, cheers for now
MR.Jackson gave that look about telling all on a podcast "I want to screen the question first""LOL"
Conveyer belt under the steel frame & straps or chains forward & backwards & one over the top mate. Wow! All that money & one strap.
Great video as usual. Those flies look to be a bloody nuisance!
On the pressure washer take the adjuster knob off the pump and grind the unloaded spring down a little bit and that will turn it up
Love a good modification hack😂

Good to see that youse have the motor back for the Challenger. Thanks for the
Adding the date is great - gives context to planting/harvesting etc - cheers
Thats your nav controller under the seat, those mounts are made to stack other modules onto of

Yes it’s good that you are putting in the date
Keep up with the good videos
Good morning from Texas
Morning!
Good job guys

Adjust the air gap and the smoke comes back

Thanks, I did notice while editing but I have been rushing the editing to try catch up on videos before harvest starts haha😂
Thank you 😊
Matt. Good to see the donk return home. I missed why did you send it way over to the west to be repaired?
Funnily enough it was because they were the only ones that had all the parts😂😂
Ohana is everything 🤙🏾
The messiest trade on building sites i worked on were the electricians, yep ya dad grabbed that camera off ya quick smart 😂😂
Hey u boys seen the D12 a contractor in Queensland has built 1250 hp V12 motor head built 4 I think u should have a look ud be impressed.
Keep seeing the spiralling staircase on the side of the shed wondering if it is a old lookout?
Dad made that about 30 years ago for a bit of a fun lookout👍
Tidy job that Matt bet your pleased you’ve got it up and working. Will there be enough cooling around the new control panel and old electronic panel ?? Yes understand cab as air conditioning
Should be fine, the vent behind it is the air conditioner recirculation filter so should always have good airflow👍😁

I bet you get a new rattle mounting the box in cab.
Hey Matt , whatever would we do without zipties , split conduit & battery drills ?
Very interesting video and great job with the electrical work and hydraulic! The only question is why it took so long to overhaul the engine back to new for tractor??
Thanks! There was an injector shortage so the motor was done within a few weeks but it was sitting there waiting for the injectors👍
@@thejacksonbrothers thanks for the info 👍
Rusty knows.

Are you brave for trusting that Andersen plug in an area with high vibration? I’ve had a couple of intermittent contacts with them in my small 4wd.
They are usually fine if they are not getting pulled off all the time I have found👍😁
Nothing a drop of silicone won't fix.
Hey Matt are there too many stones to windrow the canola
Hi! The stones aren’t the problem but we just find it’s easier to direct head the canola😁👍
6 months to do a motor, I’d be looking for someone a bit more reliable. 6 months for injectors, bls#$t.
