    I actually like the host, Hafeez with Steven. They seemed more chilled, not overly excited & giggly. It's like hanging out with two guy friends. And they don't get too hyped up about the food which makes the reviews more genuine. Good job, guys!

      Singaporeans and complaining can nvr be separated. Bunch of hypocritical milennials who think they know it all and are ignorant of why certain stuff are so & so. Disclaimer, i oso complain but the only thing i complain abt is items that doesnt taste good, then thats called a rip-off. Not evrything thats expensive is a fking rip-off.
      "we want traditional food not hipsterised or fusion food"
      All this while CHEAP TRADITIONAL FOOD has been at geylang serai, various malay food vendors in the area & various bus interchange but guess what, yall dont give 2 flying fucks to even think of buying or come to take a look. Even on normal days confirm go starbucks or KOI or Gongchang instead of buying Chendol. Sure bo u would want to buy traditional food which prices would definitely be expensive if they were to be sold at geylang bazaar? No right? Dont step suddenly want traditional food all lah. If u expect them to sell traditional food at cheap price, they might as well give u for free. Why would they compete for a spot in the bazaar just to sell stuff at cheap prices? So obviously traditional food isnt the most ideal product to sell. Thats why they have to sell fusion food which actually attract the crowd, most of whom complain complain but end up buying coz they actually wanna try new stuff.
      "expensive sia"
      It is a annual event ffs. High price is expected. The only time these vendors can earn a dime. Plus, basic economics, supply & demand ffs. With this kind of prices, the queue is alr fucking crazy. Imagine if they were to price it cheaper, u want to queue meh? End up u also wont buy despite the cheap prices. Then ull be typing on social media "eh lanjiao lah this year long queue fak it im nt buying". Evry year the same shit what so prices are expexted. Instead of complaining then save la bodoh. Complain complain complain. The complaining will nvr stop. Typcial. This bazaar has improved alot in terms of catering to consumers. Now got bloody tables to eat, better decoration and air con for some areas. All these shit were put into place coz of ppl like u complaining. So am I the only one that actually enjoyed the video? Definitely have room for improvement but the two of them did a good job hosting - they complemented each other pretty well actually, the reviews are quite well-balanced and they managed to cover a good number of items.
    Of course on a serious note, as usual, the bazaar food is totally overrated and expensive, discrediting what the bazaar used to stand for. But other than that, a pretty good job!

      @Chicken Nugget malaysia may be dirty disorganized messy but at least Malaysians are aware of their Roots Heritage Culture Traditions Religion Customs & most of them will keep up with it. Not like singaporeans don't know own culture roots heritage & no history also so many old buildings are demolished. No point in saying "Melting pot of culture" when own citizens don't know their culture background. No point in labelling singapore hawker culture as UNESCO site when the food is tasteless & expensive. Malaysia shops may be messy disorganized but their food is cheap & Best in the world. Alot malaysian willing take over grandfathers shop business & pass down. Most singaporeans not interested. Many 100 year old shops closed down. What we have in Singapore is just money money & more money. That's all. Sigh.

    • @rajblack2055
      @rajblack2055 5 лет назад +13

      I have been to all sorts places in malaysia & each shop has its own creativity of food. In singapore they try create something but not successful. I have seen many malaysians look so typical in their respective race. Most malaysian don't convert & get influenced by religion also. In Singapore people are like "my friend is Christian so I want to be Christian also" . Many of my relatives & friends converted to all sorts of Christianity & some Atheist. So easily get influenced bcos understanding of their original religion is not strong. Too commercialised. Ang Moh country of the East. You never been to malaysia? There is culture at every corner. Sgp Chinatown is loosing alot of Chinese culture. The Truth hurts right so I accept it. I am singaporean.

      Chicken Nugget yes I did and sad to say there’re very very few of them now with this whole shift in hipster food. Perhaps you didn’t notice? And yes I’m a singaporean and we love to ‘complain ‘about things that we feel strongly about, thanks for pointing that out :-)

      Is this the same as in sentosa? We went there last year. It was crowded and the food were overpriced! If this is the same, i might pass!

    Dear editor,
    The music intermission is very loud, and the actual audio of the speaking is quite soft. The music (intermission) can be a tad softer as when I hear the music, I turn my volume down, then when I hear the speaking part, its really really soft.

    Why the hell no one is blaming the organiser of the bazaar for the crazy rental fees despite having so many stalls. I feel they are the ones who earn all those money. And for those entrepreneurs who really wanna do business in a ramadan bazaar still choose to rent it and of course have to pass this extra cost to us, consumers. They are of couse taking a risk too. So no point of us complaining of the high prices that those sellers charged us when they are just trying to make a living. Instead we need to look at whether it is right for the organiser to charge them high rental fees. But I don’t see this problem getting the right attention and of course a feasible solution in the near solution.
