Yesss I completely agree with being friends first to get to know one another. I mentioned this to a man I had a great connection with, and he seemed confused, like he felt friend-zoned and didnt want that, when I really wanted to get to know him over time to see character and fit. It makes me sad how quickly ppl want to jump into relationships, so many lonely ppl out there that end up in shitty situations bc they didnt do enough to vet each other 😢
Watching from south africa. I was never allowed to express any negative emotions. He was allowed to have bad days and i was not allowed. Dated for 3 years, have been single for 1 year now and i am still dealing the emotional scars from that relationship. 12 months of therapy and i still feel like i am trauma bonded to him😢

? How do you get a guy to show you attention all i do is show him attention and he doesn't do anything in return it's all about him. Especially like the phone calls you'll be talking and next thing you know he goes turns his phone off he only answer it whenever he decides but if I don't answer hell breaks loose ?

How do you get your man to show you attention when all he wants is 100% attention you're not allowed to go in the other room you're not allowed to do anything but yet if you act like you're going to read a book or do something he gets mad because you're not showing him attention. And when I'm at home he constantly calls and says who's there with you I hear a man's voice . It's the t.v. and then when you call you'll be talking for a few minutes he says he's got to get off the phone and then when you call later on the phone will ring and then all the sudden he puts the fu button and then he turns his phone off ?

Yes, I appreciate Patricia‘s comment that some men do use women at that gift too much and I was one of them a because I really saw that we would be together forever. The relationship seems so real and perhaps it Wes but if a man is in mature, and they don’t grow and they want to get stuck in there always and send full last four ways then forget it.
