  • Here's a short clip that mainly features some of the less frequent birds at our feeders. Chickadees and Titmouse are definitely the ones I see the least; however, I do enjoy seeing them when the stop by for a quick snack.

Have you tried hand feeding the chickadees yet? It was a lot easier than I thought it would be and fills the heart right up🥰

I've been curious to try it based on some of yours and a few others. I know they come very close to me already and don't see me as a threat. The squirrels are the same way. Oh, by the way, around 2:30 a.m., my trail cam picked up a 15-second video of a raccoon crawling into one of my raised garden beds that I'm prepping for fall. I figured a raccoon was appearing based on some of the disruption I'd seen a few weeks ago. I have plans to put a small ground fountain back there for the wildlife, and it's on the path of the trail camera.

@@MyOutdoorWildlife Wonder what the raccoon was looking for?! The fountain is a good idea - I bet you will get some cute footage with that!

This raccoon might still live under our shed. There's a stream on our property, so it's possible it was coming from there; however, it was also going to one of the bird feeders. Based on how quickly the food disappears in that feeder, I've suspected that a raccoon has been raiding it at night.
