Spelling colour two separate ways in one title is killing me. The second one is part of a book title, so I must spell it as it appears on the book. But then do I change the first one to be American spelling as well even though I'm not American? 🤔

Kaylee are you in the USA I Have no way to print out anything I am disabled if I sent you the paper would you print it for me in March. I just can't find anywhere to print anything I have tried 3 different libraries and a print shop they said had to put it on something leave it with them they print off that I know nothing about that kind of stuff. Ahhh how sweet your furbaby I lost mine last October he was 113.Miss him so much have a 5 lb dog now have had 2 years. He is my partner. 😃 anyway whatever is best for you if you can print the pallets out for me. I don't have a computer or laptop or anything else except my phone its full can't add any apps can't even update unfortunately got to get a new phone just can't afford one right now least a better one that can hold more. If you can't no worries just thought maybe if you could would help me so so much. Thanks I want the color catalog I would love the sheets to practice too just can't print anything out. Also can't afford a printer right now. You are so smart have a amazing memory. 😃 ❤if there's a way I can get the packets you can print them out too so I can practice i can't pay until March 3rd give you time to think about it then if so if I have to go to h her site to buy it then she can let you know that I did somehow then figure a way to print it just wish more people would think about people like us who have no way to print anything. 😔 help so much if they did. I know people in nursing homes that color who can't get copies made as well. 😔 just let me know hon understand completely if you can't. ❤

Baylee I really really would like for this to be a series of yours! Maybe just for the extra videos not the Saturday ones and when you’re just feeling a lack of inspiration you could just get out a colouring sheet and choose a palette at random or something and then get to working! It’ll be really fun I really enjoyed seeing you work with the colour palette and I would love to see more of it.
I was thinking the same thing! I could use a random number generator to pick the palette.

I would love to see a video like this where Baylee is using the colors within a palette to emulate reflected light (like layering all the shadows in the anchor piece with blue, for example) to create a more naturalistic scene. Would love a series for sure!

Thank you so much for such a beautiful review! I LOVE LOVE LOVE what you did with the anchor page. I’ve started colouring that one myself, but haven’t made it past the rope and water yet.
And I love your idea to print half-size. I don’t generally recommend people to print the whole book because of the ink and paper it uses, but that’s a great work-around.
(I should note, there’s also a printable version included when you buy that doesn’t have the extra indexes at the back, it just has the palettes to save paper)

I considered printing the palettes only, but I thought I might like to look at the collections on paper too. I'm lucky that I have an inexpensive way of doing it, but not everyone has that option!

Yeah those colors are so beautiful and how in the world did you stay in the lines like damn.
It depends on the paper. Some allow the colour to stay put and others cause a lot of bleeding.

Baylee, I love watching you colour with copics. The anchor background had me all yassss, yassss. It was like watching silk painting or watercolours being applied. As for the price of the book, an artist will surely appreciate the time, effort and artistic mental gymnastics that goes into creating something. As much as free is great, supporting someones creation is even better. ((that's how they make more stuff)) I liked your valentine painting with candy, I had a feeling they would of made awesome swatches, and less sticky!

This is an amazing idea. I recently printed out reference pages and made my own reference book. Hehe.
I’m the same way where I need to have the physical book in my hands that I can flip through. That and I’ve read it’s easier on your eyes to use the physical book over digital. Especially if you work in front of a monitor a lot. So yay great choice! 💕💕🤗

I'd love to buy it but I'd rather have it in a real book form to like turn the pages and feel it. Maybe sounds weird but I love touching a book and just opening it on a random page and use the colours on that page to use for a random drawing and ahhh inspiration! Love it!!
I'm hoping the author will make it available as a real book because I feel the same way.

I know some people find this expensive, but I think the ease of being able to print it would make the book worthwhile :) Since I don't really do digital art printing does help with matching colors, even if it's not 100% exact. I have tried matching the markers I have to digital color palettes and it gets really difficult at times to get a good color match.

Thanks for your review of The Color Catalog. I bought it as soon as it came out. It has made my coloring and all art endeavors so much easier, quicker and most importantly relaxed! Sarah will be making another catalog Th I year, that I hope can simply be added to the first easily. I never color or do any type of art without receding to The Color Catalog.

The idea is cool and all, but 29 dollars?! I can find color palettes online, $29 seems like a ridiculous fee to pay. I think it would be totally cool for a much lower fee, but nearly 30 dollars is way out of my price range, and most young artists price range. We can by some art supplies for that price.
If you can't afford it, then you can't afford it. It's a luxury, not a necessity. That doesn't mean people have to lower their prices to accommodate people with lower budgets.
Baylee Jae that’s a fair point. I see why someone would like it, and I’m not saying they have to lower their price. I’m just stating why I don’t like it. Which is the price is too high. Other than that I think it’s neat, I just feel as though it’s kind of excessive to put such a high price on something you can get for free. But for the people that this is more convenient for its their choice to pay nearly $30. I just personally couldn’t justify spending that much on some color palettes.
@@RubyandSassy honestly complaining about the price isn't going to lower it. Why don't you just make your own than? Some artist want it and if you have the money, buy it. Novody really wants your negativity here.
Maybe cuz it took way more work then those free website? There always a free version and a paid version and usually paid version are better. Personally if I can afford it I prefer paid version but if I cheap and broke then free version for me. You have to remember she have to find all the pic, code the book, design etc and that make it expensive. So it kinda sad to say it not worth paying for people hard work?? Like I never would tell an artist their prices are too high even if I thought it was cuz they value it and work hard on it to be at the price they think their art is worth. And who am I to really judge someone handwork? Not saying you are mean or anything. Just pointing out how it sound when you tell artist, author, etc their work isn;t worth XXX price.

Hey Baylee, that part when you said that you would remember what you watched while drawing - that is so totally me! It doesn't matter if I do art journaling, drawing, writing or photo editing - I will often remember what I did. And it's funny that I now watch your video and do photo editing and I will remember your video when looking at those photos again :D

I wouldn’t be surprised if that was the face Kiki was giving you.
You mentioned the tones in the background getting in the way of making the anchor stand out, dollightful has said a couple of times that if you can’t use color for contrast texture is a great way to do it. I think the matte already stands on it well over the water but if you had more space to do it I bet making the anchor shiny could’ve been even better! Either way I love how the pieces turned out.

I agree with you on having the physical book. Goodness it is wonderful using it on the ipad. The hard copy is great for inspiration or entertaining you while watching a movie. :0)
