A great video, thank you! I really love how you've colored the background and I will definitely try applying some of these tips to my next coloring page! And thank you for your great feedback on The Color Catalog!
Wow, she turned out so beautiful❣ thank you for showing us how to use the Color Catalog, it looks amazing. Sarah Renee Clark did a fantastic job. I do agree about a back button.
I purchased a Tim Holtz Alcohol Ink Blending Pen, (it arrives empty, has a brush tip on ine end and a bullet tip on the other,) loaded it with Gamsol and use that to do most of my blending with. It works very well with Prisma Premier pencils, Polychromos pencils, and the Arteza Expert pencils. Saves me lots of time and since my fingers aren't as supple as they once were, saves on hand stress. With the brush, you can get into tiny spaces or use the whole side of the brush and cover bigger areas quickly. I probably watch your tutorials more than any others. Thanks for the hard work you put into them.
@@janetdanes7945 I purchased a second one and put vegetable glycerin in it to help make my gel pens more blendable. I've only used it on a coloring page that I had treated with Daniel Smith Ground (which keeps water-based markers from absorbing into the paper immediately,) so I'm not sure how it will work on untreated paper. However, I will use the Daniel Smith on most of the thin paper color books that I order from Amazon, and that's probably when I'll use my gel pens, as well.
Angela & Glenn Wilson I take a screenshot of the palette from Sarah's app and then open it in the Color Picker app. Then you can search for colour matches from favourite colour pencil brands, Prismacolor, Polychromos, Luminance (I think) and Derwent.
I really enjoyed listening to you on this video. This is all a bit much. I really just don't know where to start. I have a couple different sets of color pencils. I can not draw. These coloring books don't do a thing for me, so I am kind of lost. My mother and I used to color at xmas time when we made cookies. We would color while the cookies baked. We enjoyed that. I also liked to color for relaxation, I cannot find any decent coloring books for relaxation. Do you have any ideas to help me, I need it real bad. Thank you.
Wow the pic is great! Love the colors. At first I just wasn't sure. You pulled it of beautifully. Info on Kerby Rosanes is pronounced KER-bee Ros-AN-ess, male, born 12/21/91, Philippines male. That pallet book looks awesome too. Her name should be Oceanna after my friend who loves everything water and ocean.
Thank you for your fabulous video. I enjoyed watching the whole process from choosing the palette to the finished page. I have Sarah's app and have not found a 'back' button either. I use the 'home' button as you do. I saved my copy to my Notability app so I can add tags to pages and then search with the tags. This works when I’m choosing between a few different palettes. I then untag the palettes I’m not using, and keep the palette I am using tagged, so I can find it easily. I’m not sure whether you can do the same from within the Apple iBooks app, but think you can.
The name AMATHEIA means "the one who nurses the fish" :) or I like Adella which is one of Ariel's older sisters :) BEAUTIFUL BEAUTIFUL COLORS>>>GREAT JOB!!!!
I got the catalog per an earlier post and I really like it. I agree that a back button would be nice. Thanks for this demo on how to pick a pallet for a particular picture
Looks awesome! To me they look like the king and Qween of the ocean, so I would name her Quintessa! Lol. I think that's how you spell it, lol. I know it's a old name. I would have named him different tho, lol. But both look awesome! Great job!
What are the codes for? How Can these be used for matching with colored pencils? Otherwise the palettes can be searched in Pinterest by color and keyword for free.

I love using The Color Catalog. It saves me so much time and, really helps me to get beautiful colors for everything I color.

I’ve only just discovered Tim Holtz accessories for his Distress Inks. Thanks for this tip, I’m off to check it now.

Fantastical and the process for her was thought provoking. Amazing tutorial again, thank you.
She's beautiful. I love hearing your thought processes as you color. I have no idea when it comes to choosing colors. Thanks for sharing.
Your colouring is better than many of the "pro's". Will definitely be checking out your other videos.
Very cool! I would combine this with the “color picker for artists” app to quickly find the closest matching pencils. Your mermaid is lovely!
How do you use them in conjunction with each other?

Ann Siggers (A Colorful Life) was just talking about how to pick colours yesterday. This is a great find!!!
She turned out great Rachel! She looks like a Yasmine to me.
