Thank you, we will do a video on WF this coming season, I'll try leave a gap for them to produce. We find that Ulti-Mite Swirskii to be the best solution, as they attack the eggs and larvae. En-Strip is a wasp that attacks the adults.
We use both, but always lead with Swirskii and if we see adults we release the wasps.

Once again thanks for a very informative video. I think common sense would be NOT to throw the infected leaves into the compost bin but in a bag, seal it and discard in the dustbin. My dahlias are especially prone to Powdery Mildew.
Actually, with PM it does not really matter. The fungus spores are already in the environment so it's not really going to be a major issue. This does not hold true for other disease, so it's probably best to just stick to the non-composting rule.
Out of interest, the PM species that attached pumpkins will not attack your dahlias as they are species specific.
What would you suggest for a backyard garden for powdery mildew.

I wish I'd known before. Our witboer was in morning-shade, and got stung (along with the cucumbers) and the mildew totally destroyed it. I am so grateful for your advice, and want to get one of your large sprayers for the task,. Next time will be different. Please would you do a video on how you pollinate your pumpkins next time you do it?

So I've been taking extra care to disinfect myself when handling my powdery mildew sunflowers before moving on to my beans but you're saying I need not bother because the powdery growing on the sunflowers won't grow on the beans? So I can chill on the constant disinfecting?

Thanks so much, just the video I needed! Please could you show or explain how you build a guard tunnel, would love to grow my pumpkins and square vertically but need a solid system as we have strong winds in PE
The gourd tunnel is built with metal pipes, we bend them using this method.
