- I drive my car from Downtown Miami to the Olympia Heights area for a delicious Chinese restaurant. Olympia Heights is also home to Tropical Park, a 275 acre public park with a boxing center, soccer fields, softball fields, football fields, basketball courts, volleyball courts, tennis centers and raquetball courts. There are numerous strip malls on Bird Road, which is the dividing line between Westchester to the north and Olympia Heights to the south.

So glad you enjoyed visiting Vizcaya, I have been going there since 1986! If you are ever at West Palm Beach visit Yesteryear Village, it is a collection of different old buildings in Florida that have been saved and moved to this area. The Riddle House, made famous from the Ghost Adventures show, is one of the buildings in the Yesteryear Village. Henry Flagler's house Whitehall is also in Palm Beach and is a very interesting museum to visit.
I'll have to check out the Yesteryear Village whenever I'm in the area!

I had to look up where Olympia Heights was because it's not common to use and basically most call the whole area Westchester instead.
Good to know, I wasn't even familiar with Westchester at all.
It’s on Bird Road and like 72nd Avenue. By Tropical Park. Yes, the whole area is called Westchester. The neighborhood is called Olympia Heights.
