Just a tip: Mix Your Tracks using the (Primary sound driver) instead of using (Asio) the levels usually are off due to the sound driver not being the main source of sound
You are right about the settings in the audio player. I didn't know mine was set to flat the whole time, after I changed it to laptop it sound the same as in FL Studio 🙏👊
Unique twist I had on that last issue: When I finally got a good, decent set of speakers to use (was relying only on headphones and the dreaded cheap "plug your audio to an instrument amp" solution), I noticed that when I listened to podcasts and whatnot, the sound was too flat and couldn't hear the highs well enough. I went into my driver's settings to boost some of the highs, and it worked, but eventually I noticed that whenever I used ASIO4ALL, everything ended up sounding darker than usual. I had totally forgotten than in FL ASIO, that boost I did was active, while in ASIO4ALL, the boost was bypassed.

YO! some people might not like it, but something about the clicking and mouse moving is really enjoyable to me! Sounds like we're getting down to business and its time to learn some shit! I love it.
The mixer's Alt-R feature renders the audio and slaps it into the playlist. If you want to see the level of a submix it's ideal. The Master channel file export can sometimes include duplicate instances. For example EZDrummer by default plays to the Master channel. Clips assembled in song creator can be converted to MIDI inside the playlist, this is a duplicate and will cancel frequencies/cause phase issues. My recordings weren't going to submixes, and went straight to the master. Everything was too loud, so I reduced the Master fader. This does not solve the overload problem. It will bring the level below zero, but there will still be hot channels piling up and forcing compression (sounds like shit). Always sum to a submix before going to master. Drum have a submix. Guitars have a submix. Bass has a submix. These are submixed again, then go as a duplicate to the master. This provides every opportunity to correct the levels to create a proper sum.
I always had a problem after I exported where the beat seemed to be staying at a constant volume- meaning my melody got really loud when the drums weren't playing, and when my drums came in it sounded like a mess. After watching this I found out my audio interface (dolby atmos) had a "volume leveller" option switched on which was causing the problem the whole dang time
Man that was the best advise ever in the internet :) I searched for a week for an advice that something or someone will help me but YOU was THE ONE! All is technical problems yeah I had on my sound card turned on mastering options additionally :D All is good right now thanks a lot :)
I mastered my track , in fl studio it is pretty loud but when i export volume level reduces and then i put the exported file into fl studio and i had to normalize it to make it louder...
I am so frustrated with my fl studio. Anytime I feel I am figuring something out, another problem pops up! I am a new FL user. I just record and mixed a cover. Note : The best option is to always cut remainder and instead tell FL Studio EXACTLY where the song stops using markers. I believe it's the "Loop" marker type you're looking for in this instance. You can also add a start loop to tell FL Studio where the song begins. This way you're 100% in control of where it stops (and you can factor in reverb easily as well if you want)

I use Waveform as my DAW and was having the same issue of seemingly low quality exports, but as you said in the end of the video the problem was that my computer's default apps like Groove Music were not accurately representing the files. I uploaded the files and listened through google drive on another device and the exports sounded the same as when listening in my DAW. Thanks!

@@Lohnx well, I think transiting from Asio4All to Fl Studio's default Asio will bring a certain change. But might be the solution after all. Will try that.
I have a situation where i export my mix as a .wav file (made sure all my export settings are as per the settings in your video) but when i play the .wav back in windows media player/ groove player, the synths seem to sound a lot different (much weaker and compressed almost), i also checked the players equalizer settings and they are flat, so theres nothing weird going on there. I then copied the same .wav file into song mode in FL and played it directly through the master (no effects) and it sounds exactly before i exported the track. Strange. I tried using edison to record that .wav directly into FL to give me another .wav file and WALA, when i play this new .wav file in windows media player/ groove player it sounds how i expected to sound. Seems to be a long winded way but i can’t get my exports to sound how they should simply by exporting.
Thanks so much for the tid bit in the end about quality depending on the device's audio drivers, all my tracks stutter at exactly 2 minutes without fail when I'm playing them back in groove music, but on my phone they sound great. Liked and subbed!
What you are describing with the audio drivers not being up to snuff is so true. When i record my piano and listen to it back with my Focusrite it sounds very good but when I switch the output to my speakers it sounds god awuful. Like you, I also started looking for ways to fix an issue which wasn't caused bu me as well. Now I just know that the built in drivers/hardware are just wack.
Brother please help me....Actually when i listen my master song in speakers so it's given good sound but after exporting when i listen that song on a my phone it's given rough and pressing sound...so how can i solve this problam?
try mixing in mono. i usually do gain staging in mono because if it sounds good in mono , it will sound good in stereo. Phone speakers in your case are usually mono, so i guess you need to take a look at your mixing again (in mono) and from there adjust the gain on the different channels until you get the sound you want.
I always make a folder for each project, then use the Split Mixer Tracks option, so there is a stem of each channel individually, plus the Master. This is useful for importing multitrack data to different DAWs, such as ACID (save ACIDized, so the beatmapper metadata is included), and just in general, because people use different tools for different purposes. Old habit, but before FL had the current Playlist window that showed waveforms, it was just blocks where sounds were, but no representation of what the pattern is, so during FL3 days, I'd export from FL being used as a drum machine, then do the finished mixdowns with ACID volume envelopes. Lots of tricks and ways to mix. Been using FL since 2001, and ACID since 2000, the evolution has been phenominal, and I appreciate your tutorials about the newer features.
Harsh Bhise welp listen. Training the same muscles every single day is not really helpful, to grow your muscles need to rest. So maybe, you could split your workouts / routines like this (example) Monday - Abs. Tuesday - Back & Biceps. Wednesday - Rest. Thursday - Legs (dont skip it and train calves lol). Friday - Chest & Triceps. Saturday and Sunday could be rest days unless you wanna train shoulders in the weekend
@@Lohnx is asio reliable for mixing, my windows driver sounds so much different from asio. Also whenever I enable the Dolby engine on my laptop, it does this nasty limiting to make things louder. Really hard for me to decide what to rely on, on asio I bring the mix to what I want it to sound like but then it sounds different on the windows driver
@@starchild7473 yes indeed. ASIO is good for the systems that have less quality soundcards. So if your sound is weird or just low quality when using the audio driver, switch to ASIO. However I do not like recording vocals through ASIO but each to their own, it's all up to the equipment.
I found out about the EQ settings iTunes had thrown on (after some stress lol), but I never thought about asio4all VS the Realtek aspect either. Very helpful video!
About Realtek. Disable it. Remove permissions. After you do that, restart and you'll see the default Windows high definition audio driver installed in place of Realtek. The Windows driver is just superb. It works flawlessly and has amazing audio quality.

Sam C yeah I’m having the same problem
Might be the driver you listen from wether its asio4all, fl asio or realtek check your audio output
Thanks so much for the tid bit in the end about quality depending on the device's audio drivers, all my tracks stutter at exactly 2 minutes without fail when I'm playing them back in groove music, but on my phone they sound great. Liked and subbed!
Thank you
What you are describing with the audio drivers not being up to snuff is so true. When i record my piano and listen to it back with my Focusrite it sounds very good but when I switch the output to my speakers it sounds god awuful. Like you, I also started looking for ways to fix an issue which wasn't caused bu me as well. Now I just know that the built in drivers/hardware are just wack.
Whenever I try to export the audio I get an error message saying “a component named wav render form already exists” pls help
Change the title name
This showed up just when I needed it... THANK YOU SIR
Shahenshah same problem here
@@haryxOfficial Are you singer?
No man I’m edm producer.
Thanks so much you've been of great support ❤️ 🔥🔥 🔥
Hey, I did all of what you recommended and literally nothing changed.
You suck at mixing then
I always make a folder for each project, then use the Split Mixer Tracks option, so there is a stem of each channel individually, plus the Master.
How Do you Stay Fit While Producing...?
Harsh Bhise I go for a walk every day and go to the gym twice a week in the mornings :)
In The Mix i have stared my own 15 min exercise routine everyday..? is that good enough..?
Harsh Bhise welp listen. Training the same muscles every single day is not really helpful, to grow your muscles need to rest. So maybe, you could split your workouts / routines like this (example) Monday - Abs. Tuesday - Back & Biceps. Wednesday - Rest. Thursday - Legs (dont skip it and train calves lol). Friday - Chest & Triceps. Saturday and Sunday could be rest days unless you wanna train shoulders in the weekend
Of course, this applies if you do weightlifting or calisthenics or any type of training related to muscles n’ stuff
@@harshbhise6182 yes, just do some callestenics. No need for a gym :)
Thank you so much, I disabled all the effects from the windows, it turns out headphone virtualization was on :D The quality came back tnx !
You're so incredibly handsome.
Thanks! I love you!
A Bungee Jumping Potato lol..
Ha! Gay 😒
why when i export a song i get the video without sound and a wav music file
Best explanation video I've seen in a while. Thanks bro! 💪🏽
moral of the story: realtek drivers are a no no
But you get them for the lo lo
What type of sound driver I would use?
@@beskabl Asio4all
@@Lohnx is asio reliable for mixing, my windows driver sounds so much different from asio.
I know I’m late
But I’m nothing without you bro🤣🤞🏾
This helped a lot
U may put a little music at last.
Really wish I had watched this like four years ago. Oh the amount of times I've completed a mix, played it back on my computer and wept.
ur not alone mate ;)
1st like is mine
you won a golden dick
this guy just saved me from a mess 💙
I never check in Windows Media Player. It always make everything sound like shit. I like to use itunes.
CALPH88 That's probably a better idea!
yeah bro
Would VLC be a good option in this case?
Love your help! Always so clutch and clear!
I found out about the EQ settings iTunes had thrown on (after some stress lol), but I never thought about asio4all VS the Realtek aspect either. Very helpful video!
so it was my computers fault the whole time damn... thank you for this video, the last part was really helpful to me
Very clearly explained! Thanks a million for your help bruh.
About Realtek. Disable it. Remove permissions. After you do that, restart and you'll see the default Windows high definition audio driver installed in place of Realtek. The Windows driver is just superb. It works flawlessly and has amazing audio quality.
thank you so much for making these videos. takes some time to understand everything but im getting the hang of it. you make things very easy to understand.
Another great, easy to follow video with some great tips. Thanks
You are a great teacher.. I Salute you Sir.❤
So happy!🚀😁 I didn’t know what too choose wave or mp3
Made my export sound 1000% better, thank you!!
I'll have to agree, you're really to the succinct, keep it up. Should you need any guitar, I'll be happy to add something (no charge); Minor keys with a Groove are preferred. Cheers!
