www.patreon.com/TimmyTalks - Yes! After a year of making Old School Magic content on RUclips, I feel that the time is right to launch my very own Patreon page! It would be great if you can take a moment to visit the site, let me know what you think and consider becoming a patron of the show 🤟

As always, amazing content. The best old school Magic channel!
Checking the channel everyday to see if there is a new video to watch with a good glass of wine :)

Ouch, that game was a clinic on just how incredible the power 9 are. I feel fairly confident that if you took the lotus out of both games you had both games solidly in control. Not to mention the very opportunely timed twister and ancestral.

can't believe the stasis player drew the cards he put in his deck! argh!

In game two, I think you should have saved your Xenic Poltergeist for the Time Vault in response to him Twiddling it to uptap (instead of using it on the Black Lotus). This would prevent him from using that Vault to gain another turn from that Twiddle this turn since the Time Vault would have had summoning sickness. However, it would not have saved you since he had a second Twiddle that he could use in response to your Poltergeist, but it would have been a better play than forcing him to use the Lotus immediately, which is what he was planning to do anyways. If he had not had the second Twiddle (or a Boomerang), you would have been able to get another turn and pop the Disk.
    Regardless, great video as always!

Thanks for the feedback, need more experience with playing the Poltergeist. Really liking him so far btw. Handy little creature.

Do like me some twiddle vault. My favourite thing if I'm honest is how close to dying you sometimes get before winning out of nowhere 😉

think you can get a picture of the time vault deck? or maybe end the videos showing what the decks comprised of?

Twiddle Vault is a combo deck with lots of green.
      That was Temporal Stasis :)

Great video as always Tim! I made a video about the Time Vault unrestriction when it happened. It was very recent!
    ruclips.net/video/Vj8FtVraSH8/видео.html
Dude... yes... Temporal Stasis (Stasis with multiple Time vaults) is VERY strong. I made a video about my first take on that list, which I have since changed a bit already (no update video yet).
    ruclips.net/video/PFbIP9t2BUs/видео.html
I have had a few games where I literally lock down my opponent with no chance of recovery on turn 2. That's not common, it's rare, but it happens.
Basically Multiple Time vaults allows you to play a Stasis so much faster that you can devote less cards into the (getting you into a lock state) scenario and more cards into the (keeping a hard lock state) scenario.

Hi Edwin, I know, you’ve made a great vid about the unbanning 👍 I also know that the player that I’m playing against actually contacted you to discuss his choices :)
I’ve added a link to your video btw in the description of this vid as well. I initially thought I was playing against Twiddle Vault, but this deck is much stronger (in my opinion).

@@TimmytheSorcerer I thought that might be the case, I definitely saw some of my tech in there. The Abyss, no paralyze, Kismet and Disenchant are all part of my latest Temportal Stasis build.
