Particularly Sundanese people (ethnic group of West Java, including Bandung), they have so many delicious snacks made from tapioca starch. They call the tapioca starch as Aci (read: ah-chee). Snacks made from aci always start with Ci-, like cilok, cireng, cilor, cimol, cilung, etc. The one you ate probably a variation of cilung (aCi diguLUNG ≈ egg-rolled fried tapioca dough) Btw, glad you enjoyed your trip to Bandung. 😊
