That's one of the best parts of Conroy's portrayal of Batman overall. He'll use the Batman voice whenever Bruce isn't actively playing the part of Bruce Wayne, not just when he's in the suit.
There are only two guys that I consider the real Batman. Kevin Conroy was, and still is, one of them. The other is Michael Keaton. Given Batman: The Animated Series spawned from the Tim Burton directed Batman films, it would only make sense to feel this way.
This episode was liquid gold! Bruce seeing himself 50 years into the future while also surprised that he survived that long was just pure awsome, and seeing Terry in a Justice League episode was the cherry on top.

In the comics Bruce never learns about this before he dies but the epilogue which is the DCAU canon shows Bruce learn this shortly before his death because he’s in his mid-90s at this point and has to take heart medication just to not die
