LKY was regarded by Chen Long as one of the more all rounded player. He has the speed, good defence and attack. Hope he do well in the coming tournaments and Olympic. 🎉
Loh ky has potential. He make everybody sit up and watch him when he was playing against China player Li Shi Feng. I hope our SG Govt will give him more training to fully prepared for 2028 Olympics in LA.
@@KRAST666 LKY’s coach was Indonesian Mulyo Handoyo for four years, he was also once Taufik Hidayat’s coach. He left for India in 2022 and Kelvin Ho replaced him. A LKY fan argued with me insisted since Ho replaced Handoyo LKY’s performance has dropped like a rock so it must be the coach’s fault.
When you compare the training of kean yew and I guess myself, there’s a few similarities, for 1 multishuttle training is there although the pacing would be different. For me it’s just fast paced 12 shuttles, but for kean yew it’s 20 (I think) at various speeds. There’s also match plays which is nice I would consider resistance bands, but I’d Add that with a shoulder tube (something that can loosen your shoulder which is helpful when you smash). All in all I think the training is roughly the same between him and myself(a non national team player)
I think this is just one of the many different training sessions, and it just so happens that this one is similar to yours. I don't think a world class player like him will always be doing the same thing, so no, I don't think his entire training is the same as yours.
Yeah. So many first round exits. His games are volatile, great in first set, only to play like primary school in the second and decisive sets. Commonwealth Games vs NTY was one of the worst game I ever witnessed him playing.
@@csoffline7820 He is a generous opponent, often give away points a lot. And as top 10 still struggle againts lower level far from him. That is something wrong with him. No wonder everybody called him “one hit world champ”.
Ask him to come back Malaysialah. And no body is angry at him playing for Singapore in the past. I know earning in Singapore dollars is bigger than earning in Ringgit spending in Malaysia but the coaches and the training environment in Singapore is different . Singapore might offer better facilities but Malaysia have better sparring partners. You are born in Malaysia. Think about it.
LKY off form just before singapore open and paris olympics. what a pity that after all these years he still didn't find a new coach and training partners. training with amateurs? obviously his performance will decline. look at LZJ's improvement in the past year with his new coach.
LKY is NOT developing as much as his opponents. In addition he is game is now getting too predictable. Maybe he is not hungry anymore...life is getting too comfortable

Stop giving LKY so much media attention. It’s a distraction. Just look at his results after that win.
