Reality shows are edited- she may have purchased hundreds of pieces & is having them shipped, we just don’t know. That’s the problem with assuming the truth through edited content.
Sorry, I’m off my soapbox now- lol

Don't you love how these designers always seem to go to this women's shop. The designers of the past really created beautiful clothes. Now clothes are repeats of the past made poorly and way to much money for nothing. Your lucky if you get 2 seasons out of the clothes you buy today

How could she go and not buy anything, at the very least as a thank you for the free publicity of being on the show? How rude.

I'm not a designer but why does these new designers need to draw inspiration from other designers. I'm sure the designers who made those vintage clothes came up with those designs on their own.

Jypmaknae Trash nothing under the sun is new. A good artist or designer is a good cumulative copycat

As an artist, you generate your own ideas that are original, but to continue progressing your craft and creativity, it's sometimes necessary to admire and learn from other's work, that's how you learn something you never thought you could. Art itself is also safe to say *100% passion-based*, which needs to be fuelled constantly by inspiration. Just think about using references in artworks.
It's reasonable to think that it's copying, and it's true you can and it's complicated to measure it, boundaries have been made clear in art communities. There's nothing wrong with wanting to take something in someone else's work and putting it in your own, you just need to infuse your own creativity in it and respect the original.

Seems like these “designers” just borrow other peoples ideas and seem to think that they are so unique to themselves to come up with the idea to “ reinterpret” them lol seem quite full of themselves.
