I'm using this tutorial to learn omnifocus on my iphone 12 mini. I'm stuck at 2:38 where you say to add a folder to the project section. I see no option on the app to add a folder. Is there an iphone specific tutorial or should this all be the same regardless of the device?

I'm just trying out Omnifocus (coming from Things) and I'm wondering if there's some fixes to the issues I'm seeing. 1. Attachments are huge with no obvious way to make them smaller. 2. Markdown doesn't seem to be supported so I'm not happy with the way notes are formatted.

Is it just me or do some of these features not work on the web version? I was trying to adjust a few things on the browser at work and it seems... difficult to do some of these things even though I have the Pro subscription.

Yeah unfortunately the web version is quite limited.

No, it's just a one-way "sync" in the other direction, unfortunately

They have a web app but it's definitely limited. You might consider trying a month of the subscription with the web app to see if it works for you!

Custom perspectives are only available with the more costly Pro version, not with the Standard. Double the cost

Yes. Using OmniFocus only makes sense with the Pro version, in my opinion. If you don’t want the advanced features, you’re better off using a different app.
