Dang it I have most of these except juggling
i dont think its that important
same
It is very important... one of the basic techniques in soccer
Same I can do everything except for juggling 😂😢 I can only do like 5 or 4
Flame Aesthetics you dont need to know how to juggle yo make the team
This is so great, thank you for creating and posting. I like everything you have on here. I will probably use less tests to simplify for my level of team but this is SPOT ON what I need and what I was looking for.
Passing , ball control , receiving and finishing should be what's expected..good cardio as well..basics ..we don't need to see ronaldinho tricks
K thanks
I zoned out then the video finished 😂
Thank you very helpful!
Welp. I can't juggle
💯fact
I went for a trail back in March...we did long ball passes, first touch and 40 yard kick and a goal keeper was in the goal also
I failed in the 40yard kick horrible and I was unable to make it to the first team
Cool
I can’t do any of these 😭 Y’all think I can learn by January? 😂
How's it now?
@@lp1a_ I got on my high schools jv soccer team my sophomore year. The season was cut short due to covid but i joined again junior year. Now I'm a senior and i havent really been practicing. I love soccer now but it's not something i want to persue as a career (even if i wanted to i wouldnt have the skills). I wanted to do club soccer this fall but there werent enough people on the team. I have to make varsity this year cause seniors cant be on jv so I'm kind of anxious.
@@sarahdarabadey169 Just keep practicing everyday and you’ll get there
What if u don’t have a net to practice ur finishing with? .-.
for mls next all we did was scrimmage for 2 hours it was great also guys i made mls next
I have a question. I can do most of those things, but I just cant juggle to to a physical condition that I have. I've tried millions of times but I just can't do it. Do you have to be able to juggle to make a team?

Learn How to Juggle a Soccer Ball - SoccerXpert That may seem harsh and very straight forward, but the best way to master a skill is to focus on that skill until it becomes second nature. Juggling is an essential training element which we often overlook. Juggling allows the players to use all parts of their body to gain a feel for the ball.
No u don’t have to learn how to juggle for me iam not in shape and I still made the team u just have to have something good with you like for example passing iam good at passing and shooting so u have bring something good for the team
I literally Tried to learn how to juggle every day for 2 years before i could do it. Trust me it's never impossible
Just try to juggle every day. Trust me I tried and it worked
I cant dribble and juggle
Isnt there like a mile run and you have to make it under 7 min to actually make the team
Do u know what it is?(if u r from America). If u do plz tell me what the test is I idk and I rly need it
Long legs for my school apparently it is 6 min mile
For us it depends what coach u have and for varsity yeah you have to run miles but for jv for us and depending on you’re coach we ran 2 laps under 3 minutes
0:18 that was the worst touch ever
Not really but it could be a lot better

Juggling is like doing tricks ..it's cool that's it..you may juggle a few times during a game but that's it..your not standing still during a game juggling so to me this shouldn't even be a test..
While juggling might seem like it is all tricks, it also shows ball control. It helps with touch when receiving a ball from a 15 yard pass. A kid that can juggle is going to have great ball control.
@@coachfrette I'm a UK FA Coach. I think perfecting juggling is the foundation of ball control and touch. Very important! Those who juggle well seem to be the best players...
yo hotdog just stick with ur american eggball
I've been playing and coaching for 30 years. You dismiss juggling because you don't want to learn to do it. It trains balance, ball control, striking power/accuracy, eye coordination, and concentration. In game situations a good juggler can handle any type of ball coming to them, it can be bouncing, have spin on it, come from a weird angle, it doesn't matter. The game feels like it slows down in your mind's eye and allows you to handle the ball. The good players know what I am talking about. Poor jugglers just shank the ball or whiff completely. Don't ignore it there is a reason every good player can do it.
I feel like you don’t really need juggling…
You'll probably need it in like getting through an opponent but yeah, ur right.
I can juggle 541 times and I'm turning 16 in 2 months is it gud enough
Probably
Some of these kids can’t even do 10 lmao
I wouldn't use most of these "tests" when running a trial. The drills should resemble game situations, these are just useless fitness exercises lol
Not really, it shoes ur technique. Ur prolly a rec player
Christian Davison I’m guessing you’ve undergone uefa licensed coaching courses then? Because I’ve been exposed to that material as far as football training and coaching goes. These tests are nothing more than athletic movements the type of stuff you do in gym class, completely useless for demostrating footballing ability and intelligence of a young player. If you honestly think that juggling a ball is appropriate for testing and simulates an aspect of the game situation well nothing more needs to be said then.
@@VincentK.McMahon I'll be coaching MS Soccer for the first time in the fall. Do you have any suggestions for tryouts?? Or csn you point me to a video or website? Thanks!

My dumbass out here thinking i got this then i saw the dribble test and i was like ok ok maybe i got this until the juggling
