It was so corny and terrible acting but it was our show :) Reeves you could tell was not into the role. He was at his acting heights when he did the Lucy show. The guy had model looks. Not sure why he got involved with that married Mannix woman assuming that story is true. I don’t believe he was killed. He took his own life.
