Me acuerdo de este video, lo pasaban constantemente en MTV Latinoamérica, inclusive estaba en su ranking semanal allá por 1994 - 95. Gracias por subirlo
I remember this being played on the classic rock station 93.3 from Midland MI in like 1989 or 90 when it was brand new. I didn't pay much attention to who did the song but years later I went to a Gilby Clark show at a club in Phoenix AZ and he played this song and it surprised me because I hadn't even heard it in a decade but recognized it right away
I've had this CD and the one after. I don't play them often but I always really enjoy them. Duff's first solo CD rocks too. Have never cared much for Slash's side projects.
I liked many of Slash solo stuff, especially the first record with all the guest artist. Its a very nice record and its a bit different. Other two are kinda your old school Slashy GNR thing.
I think this came out in the early 90's and it was a great driving song. Musician's dream video, super guitar riffs.Nice n' dirty, although now that I am 50 ,I hope no one takes the lyrics seriously.
@@jessefoster8981 Those two LP's should have been one LP that rivalled 'Appetite' but there's WAY too much filler. 'My World'? 'Get In The Ring'? Two versions of 'Don't Cry'? Should have all been B-Sides.
I've been a fan of this tune ever since it came out, when I was too young and stupid to think, "Wouldn't the officer check him for weapons during the arrest?" These lyrics are brought to you by cocaine, ladies and gentlemen.
Por favor alguien puede transcribir el hombre del radio en la introducción? Puedo hablar un poco español pero no comprendo todo 😅 Please someone transcribe the first part for me, my Spanish isn’t good enough
Something like: "A lady asked us 'when was the date ..., a lady from the audience, ... When the last solar eclipse happened...'. I told her that on 9th February 1976."
It got a little bit of airplay in my area but was overshadowed by Cure Me Or Kill Me I think. Everytime they came on the radio and said "here's Gilby Clarke" I hoped for this one but it was usually Cure Me about 90% of the time. Both were great for sure.
IGarrettI Slash did also play on Cure Me... The Pawnshop Guitars album is peppered with GnR members contributions, including Axl’s vocals on Dead Flowers. It’s almost like it’s the follow up to UYI1&2 - GnR in nature but not by name 🤪
Bruhhhh...in the early 90s, in Central Arkansas, 103.7 used to play this song occasionally and up until recently I NEVER KNEW who did it...I could only remember the guitar riffs and melody and that it ended with the Spanish announcement...
Gilby’s stuff is so underrated. Saw him live on this tour. Incredible guitar player.

Idem bro , que buena época
El mejor álbum solista guner.

you should care about Slash's side projects
@@moreblack yeah.... but I don't.
I saw gilby at a club when this came out. One of the best shows i ever saw
Slash first solo with Eric Dover was great
"send my love to my home but send my mail to tijuana jail" so cool this tune is so massively underrated
I like this song

SLASH..GENIOOOOOOO..unico el mejor de los mejores 💪💪💪✌
Jajajjajajja payaso
Man slash is a mad fucking genius
Class track, class album...
that solo is the best of slashs early 90s with You could be mine and Dont cry
This entire album matched up against anything.
I saw Slash there
Rock and roll en su maxima pureza
That solo is so GnR
The whole song.. I can imagine Axl singing this
That's because Slash is playing lead guitar throughout this whole song!
Gilby and slash is logique
@@themadrapper101 I think that too
Used to work with Duff in Hollywood about a year before they made it.
Got to be on the guest list!
Was fun! He’s a good guy!
really a great song!!
Rock and roll the way it should be.
Bad ass track
Slash is incredible
I talked to him in Sturgis, S.D. 8-8-18
Looks like a Robert Rodriguez movie clip for el mariachi
the outro solo- initial double stop bend kicks all kinds of azz 4:20
This would have been a great GNR song!!!
El eclipse de 2024 me trajo aquí 🤘🏻
El pistolero SLASH 🎩🎼🎸
Wish use your illusion was this good
Dude, it is...Coma, Locomotive, Pretty Tied Up, Don't Damn Me...ffs man, those two albums are unassailable!!

Get In The Ring is awesome! And the perfect message that fits their reputation.
@@Lansoise ‘Get In The Ring’ is infantile.
They don’t make ‘em like this anymore folks…. Damn..

2019 oh yeah!
Slash es la pistola 🤘🏻😎
Slash
Super
Gilby proposed this song to GN'R in the period 93/94 Slash was enthusiastic but Axl simply said no.

e massa aquele cara era slash ?
This song rivals anything GN'R ever put out. Pity it never got played on the radio.

@@tonymazz1721 Is it just me or Cure me sounds so much like it has Slash in it? DOnt know if Gilby got influenced so much, but straight up Slash style
98 KUPD in ARIZONA played the ever living shit out of this song back in the day. It’s the only reason I still remember it.

FLASHEABA EN COMO LE HUBIESE GUSTADO A KURT COBAIN VER A GILBY, NO?
Sounds very similar to 90's Guns N' Roses songs
Gilby is the best rythm guitar player in the world or that GNR had ever had
Izzy wrote most of gnr stuff so that’s just wrong unfortunately
That's not what he said. Gilby was on fire at the Use Your Illusion tour, so he could be right.
I like this song, if Axl would have unfucked himself this could have been the basis of a good Guns N' Roses song.
The drumming on thisisannoying.
Musica que o idiot@ do Axl rejeitou
Pra fazer musicas como Absurd

Ripped off The Tijuana Jail by The Kingston Trio.
Nice! It's certainly referenced here but in like... one verse! How does it make it a rip-off?
This is the shit bro, awesome jam....
