Hi Giuseppe thanks for the upload! My father was a member of the orchestra (Radio-Sinfonieorchester Basel, conductor was Matthias Bamert) and I just saw it for the very first time. I think it was recorded in about 1981. Is there a chance that you have a copy of the concert in a higher resolution or any other records of that orchestra from the 70s or 80s?
This is a total travesty-trying to make this piece the subject of someones very wierd idea of humor. And the soloist is so fine and she probably had to agree to all this idiocy just to get the chance to play the performance. I feel sorry for all involved.
You're entirely wrong. Ilana Vered was 40 and a famous pianist at the time of the recording and she enjoyed it so much that she performed quite often with that Swiss orchestra from Basel. Best known and worth watching: ruclips.net/video/j_Nghbc9J-U/видео.html
This is both fun and well-played!! The best! Wish it was available in DVD.
She begins by playing the chords from treble to bass though they sound from bass to treble
Haha yes, was my first thought too
A huge thanks for posting it! I was looking for it for a long time. Again, thanks :)
The very best!!!!
Hahaha... Thank you very much.. Happily this is finally back on RUclips! Thanks so much!
Unfortunately with that damned missing part (3:01).
Does anybody have it without this problem ????????

@@edhanslick5630 it is purpose!
Some very funny moments that wouldn't be seen if not for camera work. Great performance by Miss Vered though.
