Good stuff as usual. I’ve got an off the shelf ebike right now. I’m working on a long range self made ebike. It’s cool to see you trying new gear and set ups.
@@polunu I spend lots of time riding in the desert. The display will overheat but just a wet hankerchif on top of it will cool it off and block the sun.
@@jerrylaska Thank you, that's good to know. I was hoping a few hot spells wouldn't brick the unit outright, it's kind of disappointing how easily some ebike components will overheat.
I found their website. Runs about $100-$130. Neat little screen. Would be best if they could make it look like this one with all the information of a eggrider.
Aby dostosować większość ustawień Bafang, potrzebujesz kabla do programowania Bafang. Za pomocą kabla można regulować każde pasmo. 🛒Aliexpress s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_DDoElbp

If this display is anything like the DZ41 display I would NOT recommend using it on ANY Bafang BBS or Ultra M620/G510 middrive motor because it has NO NO NO SHORT CIRCUIT protection at all. When this display goes bad it SHORT out the main GND and takes out the CONTROLLER as well as the display. This display took out 3 of my CONTROLLERS 1 Ultra M620.G510 and 2 BBSHD controllers and now I have 2 bikes that are HISTORY because of this display and I have to buy 3 NEW CONTROLLERS to get my bikes back working again. The second BBSHD controller was a BACKUP controller just incase one went bad but when I changed the controller it took OUT the SECOND BBSHD controller as well. I had purchased this display because I wanted a smaller display that the DPC-18 that was on the bike because it took up to much space so I went with this DZ41 so I could add a good headlight to the bars. Well if you have read this far you know this was a BIG GRAVE MISTAKE I made and now I will have to PAY the price with going with an UNKNOWN DISPLAY with NO SHORT CIRCUIT protection on it .
Sorry to hear of your bad luck with the DZ41. I've yet to find the perfect small display. All I've tested are missing one bit or an other of the information I need.
@@Eric_Tennant I should have stuck with the one I had on it before it did everything and more even supported 60V battery's ( BL-181 ) was the display I had on it and am putting it back on when the new controller gets here . I can NOT find this display anymore I would like to get a couple more of them when I bought them they were only 28 dollars a piece.

First setting you didn't understand is a unit choice between miles or kilometers. Thank you for this video. Helpful
I have a Lectric Ebike.
Do you think that the screen would fit it? I think so, but what's your opinion?
My AI telling me that Lectric Ebike are not Bafang based. If so I don't think it would would. IDK.
I wonder if I can find one compatible with mine, the kit I got said it came with a pedal assist controller and it didn't. My friends did though.
AliExpress would be the place to look. They have more stuff then the other options out there.

I love the fact that Bafang has a ton of screen options.
Nice little screen cheap and cheerfull will work with the open source firmware. had it for a while but a bit too simple for my needs 🤣
Thanks Eric I've been using the eggrider for a few years with my bbshds. I think its better and Bluetooth programable.
Have you noticed how the egg rider screen gets hot after a while? I feel like it's going to cook itself this summer

Explains why I couldn't find the eggrider screen for sale anymore.

Hello, I would like to know if I can mount the bafang bbs02b 750W kit on the giant bike Giant - Trance X2 2010 thank you
Yea, you will just have to get a chain ring that gets the chain line right.

Got a 30ft ladder just for this house.

Thanks for watching.
what small motor are you rocking?
ruclips.net/video/vD_7SHm97SY/видео.html BBSHD 1000w
how can the mileage be seen on this display?
This display doesn't have that feature. If you go one model up it does ruclips.net/video/9KUKMG52tdA/видео.html
U do not a LCD if u don't want it, just short signal and +5v on LCD plug
how can i know the mileage of the bike with this screen? i cant see it on mine..
This model doesn't have that feature. The next model up does (DZ41 ruclips.net/video/9KUKMG52tdA/видео.html )
Think that first setting maybe mi/km toggle.
Great tutorial 👍
Thank you 👍

Most of us use international or roaming Sim cards to get around, weirdly Bytedance tictoc ECT are just fine😕.
